Please be advised. Friday and Saturday's dinner service is Exclusive Omakase experience only. Omakase chef tasting menu is $175 Per Person (price does NOT include beverage and gratuity). Each section will take 120 minutes. (4:30pm to 6:30, 7:30 to 9:30)
For all parties, 100% of cost per person + tax will be charged at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the reservation date will not be refunded. Cancellations made before the 72-hour time period will be refunded 50% of total cost per person + tax.

Reduction in the number of guests in the party are subject to cancellation charge.
Please be on time to enjoy all the courses. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
Omakase means a meal consisting of dishes selected by the chef.
Chef will create some courses with seasonal, and best available ingredients.

Please call Hikari (530) 564-4356 to request Tuesday to Thursday night dinner. Walk-ins are welcome during the weekday Mini Omakase service.

The best Japanese food I've ever had. Tons of fish I've never eaten before, an amazing 22 course meal of meticulously crafted dishes, and a delightful sake pairing to boot.

I think that it was a good first-time experience, but definitely not worth the money. I'm sure that the fish selection was up to par, but maybe it's just me. Only a few pieces stood out to me out of 20 courses. Great explanations and experience with service, just not worth $230 a person to be sat in the back row and not even at the sushi bar.

Hi there, we are sorry that you felt that our fish selection was not reached your expectations. We only have used the highest quality seafood from Toyosu. Our Japanese Hon Maguro, Kuruma Ebi, Premium Uni, and Japanese Wagyu are the highest quality available, and we paid the highest price at the auction. We aged our premium seafood to preserve Traditional Edo-mae Sushi. Your feedback is very important to us. Thank you for dinning in with us.

The food is beautiful and delicious. The service is attentive and friendly. It is definitely the best restaurant in Davis.

A wonderful dining experience. For those who love sushi, Hikari has the real deal, and a masterful chef to deliver it. Backed up by well-rounded staff, Chef delivered one of the best Omakase experiences I've had. I enjoy sushi, but Omakase is a performance and what a performance it was. Every step taking into account the previous serving leading into the next sip or bite resulting in an ovation of flavor. A memorable culinary performance by far, Bravo Chefs Sithu and Zin
