I gave this an energetic for noise because we were making all the noise. Good time had by group of long time friends enjoying an amazing dim sum lunch. Service was friendly, food was above average, menu was a bit smaller than most Chinatown dim sum menus but no one was lacking for something to eat. A delicious fun time had by all. We will be back.

We went to Hey Yuet after reading all the glowing reviews. However, it was just average. Dim sum selections were extremely limited. Food tasted fine, but more to select from would have been better. We went for lunch and only 3 tables had diners. Had gone there 2 weeks before on a Sunday. It was packed. Reservations are most definitely needed on weekends.

amazing food - so very authentic! The Soup Dumplings were awesome and the beef dish was incredible. Loved the pineapple rice served inside the pineapple!

All around fantastic place! The staff is very friendly, they are very accommodating, the prices are fair and the food is delicious. Highly recommend for a nice dim sum experience.

Excellent neighbourhood gem in Chelsea. Authentic and delicious Cantonese cooking. Not overly salted and great variety of dishes. Also fantastic value. Must try if you’re in the hood or if you are local!

Hey Yuet is off the beaten path but worth a trip for authentic all day and night dumplings and many delicious dishes. Do not miss the crispy fried rice which is a miracle of simplicity, flavor and texture. The spot isn't fancy but it's a find!

Cute decor & good location. We went for dim sum at 1 pm on a Monday. The items were technically correct & seemed very fresh, but nothing had much flavor. We also ordered an entree from the menu. Again, it was just kind of bland. I suppose the converse is that it wasn't salty or full of msg.

This was our second time. Everything this time was pretty much as before i.e., a great meal with excellent service at a fantastic price in a small noisy space that is worth putting up with.

We had a lovely dim sum lunch at Hey Yuet, which was recommended by a friend. The room is lovely, the service was fine, and the dim sum was excellent. We will certainly return!

Tasty! Maybe warn people that the yolk bun spills out a bit messily. It was delicious but almost got my shirt! But overall terrific service, delicious food.

Quality of ingredients and flavors are so good. Decor is quirky and interesting. Chairs are surprisingly comfy! Definitely need to finish with dessert, especially the pineapple buns and the mango pomelo sago. 👍

Service was very attentive and helpful. They did not have the Riesling listed on the wine list, so we tried a bottle of Frenzy Sauvignon Blanc -- very very nice. The food was interesting and creative. The crab soup dumplings were good but not excellent -- more pork than crab in the filling and they only serve 4 (many Chinese restaurants serve 6; these are better at Little Alley). All three mains were wonderful: fried rice with salty fish and chicken, pea shoots, and sizzling fried egg topped with enoki mushroom and sauteed pork medley. The desserts were so-so: coconut pudding and (quite unusual) gum tragacant with brown sugar. Cost before tax and tip: a good value at $125. We are looking forward to going back.

Hidden gem!! The food and service is wonderful, highly recommend. If you are stopping in for brunch/lunch go for the dim sum. If not, save your appetite for the entrees and chef recommendations for dinner, which are very authentic Cantonese and well seasoned.
