We require a 48-hour notice for gluten-free & pescatarian requests. We can *not* accommodate vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free or seafood-free diets. Our most recent menu can be viewed on our website. Our menu is seasonal, and subject to *daily* changes.
Heritage Restaurant uses sustainable meat, fresh seafood, and Farmers Market produce. We are certified blue, green, and maintain a zero-waste kitchen. Heritage is family owned and operated by Chef Philip Pretty and sister Lauren Pretty. Our lively indoor dining room was built in 1922 as a craftsman house. Walk inside to an open kitchen, request bar seating to watch us cook over a live fire Santa Maria grill. Located in the Rose Park neighborhood of Long Beach on the corner of 7th & Saint Louis Ave. Newly awarded Michelin Star and green star in 2023. Just doin our own thing out in Long Beach.

Amazing meal and overall experience. Lovely restaurant situated within a retrofitted home. Although we sat in a separate dining room off the entry, I was still able to enjoy a view into the open kitchen. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the courses were well timed. The duck and froyo were my favorite! The birthday card was a nice touch at the end of the meal. We’ll be back next season

Amazing experience. Serious approach to the food without any pretentiousness in service. The music was a little intrusive, but it is still a perfect date night idea.

This was an amazing experience from the first course to the end. So classy and so good. Each dish was prepared to perfection. We will do this again when the menu changes.

The tasting menu was everything we expected. Beautiful presentation of all courses. Our servers were friendly and welcoming and paced the courses perfectly. Every course was delicious! We are fortunate to have the restaurant in Long Beach!

The food was amazing, but one thing that really stuck out was how attentive they were to our needs with food allergies. Multiple people confirmed the allergies, and double checked to make sure similar items were okay before serving them. Was very appreciated!

If you’re looking for a unique date night in Long Beach this is a fantastic place! The food was great, even though it was a tasing menu we left full. We went on a Wednesday night, wine Wednesday 1/2 bottles. Trying to find parking was a little difficult but they do valet.
