We LOVE Henry's seafood. Wednesday evening is a fresh shrimp boil w corn on the cobb, andouille sausage and potatoes. Price was reasonable; food AND service were outstanding.

Henry's doesn't disappoint. We brought out of town guests to our favorite restaurant in Acworth and they were greatly impressed. Henry greeted us warmly, the service was spot on, and the food was marvelous.

This was our first time back to Henry’s since Covid. We didn’t have the best experience then. But this time was excellent! Our server Belle was amazing. She had the best energy and was super attentive. She suggested the blue crab and corn dip as the appetizer. It was so good! We also had gator bites and my husband had a cup of gumbo. Out entrees were delicious and then we had the best dessert sampler!! Bread pudding, gotta have it chocolate cake and fruit cobbler. All three were so good. Best restaurant experience in a long time! We’ll be back very soon!

We absolutely LOVE taking the drive to come up to Henry’s. The food is always delicious and the staff is exceptional. It truly reminds me of the great Cajun food from New Orleans and Henry brings that to Georgia.

Real Cajun food, not just someone putting hot sauce on and calling it Cajun. Like eating in my mama's kitchen. Never had a bad meal here, and even the non-Cajun dishes are fabulous. The barbecue shrimp is not to be missed. Make reservations early; they are ALWAYS busy.

This is my second visit to Henry’s and it was an early celebration for Mother’s Day. The one thing I did not like as much this time was being seated in the top floor. The steps are steep to reach the top. That said our server was excellent. We enjoyed the food and the selection. For the appetizers we ordered the sampler which offers three item for those of who cannot makeup our mind betel gumbo and shrimp and grits . Similarly for dessert we ordered the sampler and it included the lava chocolate cake with ice cream and the cobbler. YUMMMM

Dinner was the celebration of our grandson’s 19th birthday. Food and service were both excellent and delivered in a very timely manner. Henry came by the table to offer his best wishes which was a very nice personal touch.

It is always a treat eating at Henry’s. Food is consistently good. It just took quite a while to get our drinks from the bar and we were there after the lunch rush. Other than that, it was great!

Our first visit there after receiving several glowing recommendations. Went to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was awesome. Our server, Malcolm was great and made sure that we made the right selections and was on top of everything. We met Chef Henry at the end of the meal. An outstanding experience. We will definitely go back!

As usual, Henry’s knocked it out of the park in every way. Was nice to have a private corner for our anniversary dinner. Friendly staff (as always). Delicious food (as always). Highly recommend for any special occasion!

My food (the atchafalaya) was quite good. My wife's food was ...odd They offered a special which she ordered, but we were told the special was unavailable...??? even though we arrived early on a Thursday evening. Why offer it if it is unavailable? The substitution just didn't work well.

Our favorite place to stop while traveling!! We plan our trips around a visit to Henry's. As always, the food was outstanding, service was as well and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We recommend Henry's to everyone we know who's traveling through Acworth.

We had such a good time last night at Henry's for my birthday. The food is wonderful, and the staff is so friendly. Henry came to our table to wish me a Happy Birthday and bring me a special drink as a gift. I love this place!

We enjoyed Henry’s for my birthday. I had the mahi-mahi special. My husband had a steak. Both were delicious. If I get to go again I will definitely get a steak because my husband‘s steak was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes that came with it were wonderful.

This is the best restaurant within hundreds of miles of Acworth. Henry has built a restaurant that can’t be rivaled. Whenever friends come to visit from other states we take them to Henry’s. He never disappoints. He is retiring but he was there when we took some friends from Illinois on 4/26/2024. He spent some time at our table talking, made sure we all got beads (regulars will know what that means), and made them feel very welcome. They absolutely loved this restaurant.

James, thank you for the great review and thank you for bringing your friends in. It's true that Henry will be retiring eventually but you will see him around for quite a while yet as he supports the new owners in carrying on the legacy! Yeah Baby!

Some of the worst food I have ever had. Will not be going back EVER. I will stick with Gumbeauxs in Douglasville.

We tried Henry's for the second time and found it to be just as noisy as the first time! Just way too loud! We thought the food was pretty good although the sauce on my shrimp etouffe was too paste-like, too thick and not enough of it. Somewhat fun atmosphere though.. A cajun restaurant should also have raw oysters on the half shell! I suggest an assortment of soft goods wall hangings to help the noise factor.

Thank you for your review Joel, we appreciate your feedback. I was able to pull your ticket and do some research to better understand the details of your visit last Saturday night. First, I'd like to apologize for the etouffee you received and that it was a different consistency than how we usually serve it. I'm glad you enjoyed the atmosphere; I just wish your server would have addressed your dissatisfaction. We never want our guests leaving unhappy! It looks like you were sat in our Uptown dining room and while the sound is typically less reverberant upstairs, I personally understand how loud it can get during a busy weekend rush (especially after the Acworth Art Fest). Next time in you're in "our house" please feel free to let the hostess know you would prefer to be seated in a quieter section of the restaurant. Our hostesses are trained to accommodate guest seating requests to the best of their ability. I hope you will allow us another opportunity to experience a true Henry’s meal as it should be. Again, thank you for sharing your experience.

Our server, Belle, was outstanding!! Such an energetic girl! Mahi Mahi special was fantastic! Pimento cheese appetizers with baked pita chips was good. Noise level was very loud. Great experience and will be back.
