this place was underwhelming. the service was atrocious. our server couldn’t give recommendations because he was a “picky eater” and couldn’t tell us anything about the beers on the menu. food was fine, nothing special, the cocktails seem to be their specialty. we had an 8 pm reservation but they close at 9? our food didn’t arrive until after 9 and the entire staff was sitting at the bar waiting to go home at 930. it was pretty uncomfortable. i wouldn’t go back.

Do not be fooled by the name of the restaurant as this place is not linked with Gordon Ramsey. Great food and a very eclectic environment for a fun time.

Would have rated food much higher but one member of our party was served an entree salad with a long hair entwined in the food - thankfully the person it was served to noticed the hair prior to consuming the salad/the offending hair. The hair did not belong to the member of our party that the salad was served to. I have dined with you on multiple occasions and have always had generally had good experiences and enjoyed the food, service and ambiance at HK. This last time visiting I find myself disappointed that it took so long to get a replacement salad served (the rest of our party had already finished eating by the time it arrived). I was also disappointed that nothing more was offered as a customer service gesture given the situation - some form of gesture, no matter how small, would have been appropriate and appreciated given the level of “ick” that comes along with finding someone else’s hair in your food and the time it took to be served a replacement salad. We will give things another try in the future given our experiences have all been good ones up until this last visit.

The macaroni balls were not hot on the inside. The queso tasted like it was from a can. The burger was not hot and the cheese inside was prepackaged. Not worth the hype of Hell’s Kitchen.

Stopped in for a meal, after the show. Host very pleasant. Waitstaff was informative, helpful. Meal was great (barbecued ribs for one, short rib for other—both were very good, but the short rib was outstanding in its tenderness and flavor).

Great food and service . Reservation highly recommended to avoid wait as HK is popular on weekends. Only disappointment was Mac and Cheese Balls were sold out as was Brut for Mimosa. Fun place to take out of town guests.

We live in London, UK but come to Minneapolis to visit family. We happened to be here for my birthday so booked brunch on Sunday as we have always enjoyed the food and vibe at Hells Kitchen. This visit was no exception. The service was brilliant, the birthday treats were much appreciated. The food as always was excellent, and the Bloody Mary bar was as usual outstanding. This is the perfect spot to visit for a lively brunch with excellent food, drinks and heaps of atmosphere !!

My son and I brought my parents for their first time visit before seeing a show downtown. The Juicy lucifers were as fabulous as ever, the music list made my son giddy as he rarely hears his favorite bands when out, and our server was spectacular. The artwork around the establishment was conducive to spurring conversation, the beverages were on point (whatever that infusion with hibiscus was should be sold by the gallon this summer!!!), and we had a wonderful experience. Than you for EVERYTHING!!!

Had a reservation and seated on time. We had perused the menu beforehand so we ordered immediately. Our server was aware we were going to a play. It took 45 minutes to get our food which left us 15 minutes to gobble up what might have been good food but we were too rushed to enjoy it. Very disappointed and don’t plan to go back.

A piece of a broken plate/dish was served with my food. The server apologized, but that was it. My food was not taken back or replaced. No manager stopped by. The sandwich was not comped and I was charged a 15% service fee on top of my bill.

Food was fine. No complaints. I made reservations about a week in advance. It wasn’t extremely busy when we arrived so reservations were probably not needed. However, given that I made reservations, one would think we would be seated in a decent area of the restaurant. We were stuffed in a corner at an extremely loud part of the restaurant where we couldn’t even hear ourselves think. There were so many other nice booths or areas they could have put us. The server was very kind but she was wearing a mask so with that and the noise, we had zero chance at understanding a single word she said. The automatic service charge was annoying and it will keep me from going back there in the future regardless of how the food tastes. I do not appreciate being told what I should or should not be giving in gratuity. For that alone, I would not return to this restaurant. As I said, the food was fine and there were no complaints. But for all the other issues, the food would not bring me back.

We strive to keep our guests entertained with live music but we also want everyone to feel comfortable. We polled our guests to find if they’d prefer a service charge or built-in pricing, and the results were–and this is true–split perfectly 50/50. We always encourage guests to share their opinions and, for now, we’ve found this model works to keep our guests and our employee-owners happy and satisfied. That being said, we are always open to hearing how it comes off to our customers and we truly take every bit of feedback to heart. Being employee owned, we understand its significance. Back at Hell's Kitchen for the first time in years... meeting friends for brunch. Loved that Cornbread Harris was playing. Place was busy but not excessively so. Our server was quick, friendly and efficient but the overall pace was slow. Our food came out lukewarm - poached eggs were cold and hard. We should probably have said something in order to have it remedied at the time but we didn't. Food quality was good, not great and felt overpriced. OK with the automatic 15% gratuity as I think that's fair that everyone gets tipped and the service iteself was fine. The food less so. Probably wouldn't return or recommend.

The half order of ribs is generous and all of the food was excellent. Ask to be seated in the Far Side Room if possible. Perfect for a fun evening.

We ate here for lunch with a group of 6 people and we were on a tight schedule as we were all in town for a conference. Everything was great; from the drinks to the service we were well taken care of. Our server, Jonas, was friendly and efficient and made our short trip very enjoyable. Our group recommends the jucy lucifer, grilled cheese, and the dirty chai- a delicious take on a chai latte served virgin and mixed with coffee and cream.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, and it’s been a few years since I’ve been there. I won’t go there again. The service was horrible, our food was good, but cold, and prices have risen too high. I like the atmosphere, but it just isn’t what it used to be.

The ambience and experience at Hell's Kitchen in Minneapolis is alway top notch. The food, service, and wait staff never disappoint, and we've never had a bad dining experience. My wife had the Walleye hash, while I had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and they were both absolutely perfect as usual. We can't recommend Hell's Kitchen enough, definitely one of our go-to spots in downtown Minneapolis.
