We ordered most of their signature dishes and they all ended up well as we thought. The meal didn’t take too much of time to show up on our desk. Price is a little bit too high especially the drinks. Only thing is I felt they didn’t have enough waitresses to handle the service for customers.

The food was delicious. Especially loved the Caesar and the burrata. Scallops and risotto were also fantastic.

First time there and we really enjoyed ourselves. Food was excellent and cool ambience. We loved the burrata bruschetta, one of the best ever had. And the smoke lamb with risotto was delicious. Drove from OC and plan to go back and bring friends.

Just ok. Nothing was great, nothing was horrible. It was plain, lacked the flavor pop that “Great” establishments have. It’s not unreasonably priced , but when I take into account the fact that I can make the dishes (as an amateur chef) I got with the same or even more flavor. That was a bit disappointing. Like I opened with, not great but not horrible either.

We went during lunch on a Saturday around 1 and it was probably 1/3 full. Noise level was decent. Food was delicious. Bruschetta was amazing and the wagyu pappardelle was amazing as well.

The Hanger steak was cooked to perfection. Got gf pasta and it was amazing… I’m sure the regular pasta is divine.. The pear martini is so good!

This place was perfect for a date night! Beef tartare, ribeye, and lamb chops were all amazing! We were pretty surprised it wasn’t super crowded on a Saturday night because everything was great. We will definitely be back!

We were excited to try this restaurant despite it being slightly out of our way. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations due to unattentive service. Despite having only three occupied tables, we experienced long periods with no server in sight, making it difficult to get assistance. While the food was decent, it wasn't exceptional. My wagyu beef noodle dish was particularly disappointing, with some parts of the meat being uncooked. The restaurant's decor is lovely, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough to overcome the service issues. Given the service problems, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at this time.

Service was great but food was terrible. There was maybe another 2 tables at the restaurant and our pastas took about 40 minutes. It didn't really bother us until the food finally came and it was room temperature... Considering the price of the food the pasta was pretty bad (we ordered 3 different pastas). Brunch/lunch menu was very limited and probably won't ever come back again.

We’ve been wanting to try out the restaurant and had mixed reviews. To start, the food was good overall. The oyster portion size was great and beef tartare was excellent. The rack of lamb was good and honey cake dessert was delicious. We enjoyed the mezcalita cocktail and “Illegal Blow”. The cons were the service. It took 20 minutes before our waitress came to our table to greet us and it would take her very long just to come take our orders. There was also one bartender the entire night. Would we return: if a friend wanted to otherwise no.

The cocktail I ordered was excellent. The staff was very friendly. However, we waited an hour for our dinner. When the food did arrive, it was a disappointment. The portions were small and average. They were missing ingredients that were listed on the menu: grilled vegetables were replaced with cold cherry tomatoes, the half a roast chicken was closer in size to half a Cornish hen, truffles were out of stock but still included in the total price, the burger patty was thin and flavorless, the burger bun and fries looked and tasted store-bought. It was on par with what is offered at chain restaurants, but cost twice as much.

Wonderful experience, only complaint is that we asked for a cocktail with tequila instead of mezcal, but cocktail was served with mezcal. It appears we weren’t listened to and ordering and correction took about 30 minutes. Other than that, food and ambiance was wonderful.

Food was good once it arrived reservation was for 715 food didn’t get to our table until 9 due the “kitchen not getting our ticket” servers hardly checked on us and barely realized we didn’t get our food until the party that came 20 min after us got there food before we did. Manager said he would get the food out to us in 6 minutes but I don’t know how you get a steak done in 6 minutes but ok if it wasn’t for the company of my wife and is having so much great conversation the night would have been a major bust.

We booked a lunch after a Friday concert at the Disney auditorium. The place was pretty empty so, at least at lunchtime, Reservations did not seem necessary. The server was delightful, the menu, interesting, and the homemade pasta delicious. We ordered cannoli for dessert, which was too soft to my liking. All in all, we would go there again, and want to revisit during a busier time as the place seems like it would have the best atmosphere with bustling tables.

I went for a birthday. We got the scallops ceviche, Cesar salad, and oysters. The scallops ceviche was not not what I expected. The salad was way over priced. The oysters were tiny and overpriced. For a main course I got the seafood platter. The scallops, shrimp, and octopus had good flavor. The risotto tasted like wet rice. The restaurant was very nice but the food was lacking flavor and it was overpriced. The service was good. But I wouldn’t go back.

I’m seriously disappointed with the food that I ate! I paid 200 but it was terrible and the fact it was on Valentine’s Day made it pretty hard to negotiate the bill!

My wife and I had dinner at this restaurant yesterday valet charges were $19. We ordered a Caesar salad as an appetizer which was pretty good. It is shareable main courses were a Wagyu steak pasta, and a. Risotto with scallops I really enjoyed the Wagyu steak pasta. However, the scallops were a bit fishy. We did order a side of truffle fries that came in extremely late for some reason I do not know why, because the restaurant was not busy. our waiter was amazing and very nice overall three out of four stars we paid $189 for this meal

Took my fiancé her the night before Valentine’s Day. The ambience was amazing, bar was nice and they had the chefs visible in the middle of the restaurant. Service was perfect never needed to ask for a refill for water and always checked on us at the right time. Food was amazing and fairly priced for the quality and size of plates you were getting. I would definitely come back and dine here again!

We had a great birthday dinner for my boyfriend. The restaurant was quiet and intimate. We almost had the section to ourselves. The service was amazing and so was the food. I will be coming back again

Really beautiful restaurant with amazing quality and taste of the food. Servers and bartenders were so skilled. The open flame cooking method and a talented chef truly made the food so tasty. Will definitely go back again.

My dear readers, as I ventured into the ambitiously named Hearts and Flame, expectations were as high as the spire of Saint Basil's Cathedral. Yet, what I encountered was a culinary landscape as barren as the Siberian tundra. The meat, oh comrades, was a sorrowful affair – reminiscent of the old days of scarcity, lacking both flavor and care. Moving on to the shrimp pasta, it was as if the chef had taken a vow of minimalism, presenting us with a dish that was as uninspiring as boiled macaroni with halved shrimp can be. In this bleak gastronomic panorama, a glimmer of hope shone through with the avocado toast, a simple yet satisfying morsel that my wife found solace in. However, the drinks brought us back to the grim reality of the meal. The Old Fashioned, a classic cocktail, was lost in translation, emerging as a shadow of its true self. In conclusion, dining at Hearts and Flame was like attending a ballet where the dancers forgot to dance. The restaurant, promising a fiery passion, delivered an experience as lukewarm as a forgotten samovar. One leaves feeling neither the heart nor the flame of what could have been a culinary love story.

This restaurant has so much going for it and I really wish I could post a positive review but the terrible service overshadowed everything else. Pulled up to valet parking which was nice. Beautiful outdoor patio area and very welcoming indoor decor. Hostess greeted us and had our table ready. We sat and waited about 10 mins for our waitress. She seemed to be covering our entire section on her own. She took our drink orders and it all went downhill from there. We had to ask multiple times for 1/2 the drinks. 3 times for the bottles of water. Ordered appetizers, ate them all and sat watching our waitress chat for 15 mins at another table as we waited still for her to take our entree orders. I finally had to get the FOH manager(?) to take our orders. No one cleared our empty appetizer dishes until I asked them finally. 4 of the 5 entrees came out and the 5th came out 10 minutes later. The food is actually really good. But if I’m going to spend $800 on a dinner/drinks for 5 then I expect as least reasonably good service. It was a client dinner and I was embarrassed by the poor service.
