Welcome to Hazelwood Food and Drink in St. Louis Park.     We have usually had a great experience here, but this time was oddly horrible. The food was great as usual, but it came out before our drinks even arrived? Our server was not attentive, barely stopped by, said she’d cancel our drinks since we were halfway done with our meal, and said she’d refill our waters, then she disappeared and the. Brought the bill. Overall it was the service that lacked. The server indicated that it’s super weird the drinks weren’t out yet, but yet she didn’t seem to check on them? She sort of fumbled over her words, but she should’ve check on them in the end. But! We will return as usual, hoping it’s just a blip.

    A real mixed review, I know. The food and service-as always-was fantastic. We can't say enough good things about the quality of their food and how outstanding their service is always. But, at what point did the Manager decide to turn the volume all the way up on the sound system so the Timberwolves game would be played at an ear splitting level? Even after we asked our Server to turn down the volume, it barely changed. If I wanted to go to a sports bar, I would. But, my decision was to go out with close friends and be able to have a nice conversation with them over dinner...not having to shout at each other over the dinner table. When are these Manager's ever going to understand that having ear splitting volume in a dining establishment is not a good business practice? It really ruined our otherwise fine meal....

    Our experience at hazel wood was amazing! The food was great and so was the service. I got the French toast and it was so delicious. My friends got omelets and enjoyed those as well. We will be back for sure!

    Food delicious - chicken pot pie. More than enough to split which is what we did. Server Wyatt was very attentive and very cordial. Thank you for the great service Wyatt.
