I’ve been to Haywire multiple times and it’s always been great. This particular time the service and food were very uneven. Our appetizers were delivered to the wrong table and they got to enjoy them free while we had to wait longer and we were offered nothing. I ordered my Filet medium and it came to the table well done, adding yet another wait to the meal. What used to be a fine dining experience felt like a trip to Red Lobster.

First time at Haywire Uptown and will be back. Service was excellent as well as the food. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were delicious. The dessert was great!!!!

My husband and daughter took me for Mother's Day. I thought the restaurant looked nice on the inside and out. The noise level was moderate because it was Mother's Day. I was quite disappointed with the food. It came out lukewarm, and I definitely didn't care for the watermelon salad. It was weird tasting and a little slimy. However, our waiter was very attentive and really nice. I would visit again when it's not so crowded.

We had a good experience, the kitchen did get backed up so the service was a little slower. The food was mostly good. It was a bit on the spicy side with Elk Tacos to the point that it covered up the elk taste. Other than that we enjoyed our meal.

I cannot say enough about this whole experience. Food, outstanding, atmosphere, amazing, people, so over the top amazing. Our waiter, Greg, made our dinner what it was as, phenomenal. We will be back and ask for him. His suggestions and attentiveness, made our night perfect.

My first time there with my daughter. She really enjoyed her angus filet and asparagus! I loved the Brussels sprouts and whipped potatoes! We both really liked the Hibiscus Haze Mocktail! We’ll definitely go again!

From beginning to end this was a great experience. First, they willingly altered our reservation at the last minute to help us out with elderly relatives. Then, the table service was excellent! Our server went above and beyond to make our meal perfect. It was my mother in law's birthday, and she ordered iced tea. Their iced tea makers were not working, but our server somehow managed to figure out a way to make her a glass of tea! They also brought her a birthday dessert with a candle. The music was loud, but they were happy to turn it down. The whole team was friendly and accommodating! You don't get service like this anywhere these days! And the food was fantastic! Delicious food and incredible service- we will be back!!!

Our server was amazing, the streak was average, definitely not worth the price, but like I said our server made it a good experience and the drinks were amazing. I thought my steak was average but my boyfriend’s steak was very good!

Our waiter wasn’t the best. Unsure of his name. He liked to call everybody “brother” or “sister”. My grandmothers food did not come out on time. We had to wait an extra 15 minutes for her food after everybody else gots theirs. Then when something was missing from her order the waiter got upset that we asked and tried to state we change it when we did not change it. Other then that, everything else was great as always.

For a $500 total bill, the food was not exceptional and the drinks are very expensive. The place is elegant, but not so elegant that it makes up for $60 steaks. No bread offered. Automatic 20% added to bill. I was charged $83 Automatic for tip. Everything had to be on one bill which puts an expense of $500 for one person a burden

Server noted the three most popular entrees are: 8 oz garlic stuffed filet mignon, pork chop and the redfish. We decide to purchase all three and share family style. Everything was outstanding. In particular, the whipped potatoes and the German-style potato salad as sides were table favorites

We have been going to Haywire for years. Never had been for brunch. I do not recommend. Valet was a mess, the restaurant was empty yet it still took forever to get service. The coffee was cold and gross. It tasted like it was days old. Total disappointment. Do not recommend for brunch. Dinner is great. The vibe is good, food is outstanding and I haven’t had bad service at night. Since everything is local we like to take out of town guests and we’re embarrassed to bring people there for brunch.

I absolutely adore Haywire! Every visit confirms why it's one of our go-to spots: the food is consistently delicious and the service is impeccable. The team here, from the dining staff to management, always makes us feel right at home. Our go-to menu items never disappoint. The lump crab dip is a must try and rich and flavorful, the chili is perfectly spiced, and the steak is always cooked to juicy perfection. We also love the blackened fish & Gulf shrimp. And let’s not forget the cornbread—it’s really the best and perfect to round out any meal. I also order some to go. If you're looking for a dining experience where both the atmosphere and the dishes shine, go to Haywire.

Had a great lunch at Haywire. Elk Tacos were excellent as were Onion Rings. And that Smoked Fried Chicken? It was outstanding! Deliciously crispy, smoky and moist served with really good Mac and cheese and cornbread. Service was excellent, but our table was very wobbly and needs to be taken care of. I’m not from Dallas, but will return when I next visit.

Great experience! Staff was friendly and our waiter was attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. Everyone was more than pleased with the food. Will be back.

We had a reservation and still waited 20 min to get sat. We were supposed to be in outdoor covered area and they sat us at a table right by bar that was vacant when we walked in. New server- inexperienced and slow. Went for pear martinis and was told they don’t have pear vodka anymore. Food arrived and we had no silverware. Asked for salt and pepper and had to retrieve ourselves. Then had another waiter come and ask to remove it from our table??? Very disappointing overall.

I’ve tried the location in Plano, which was a better experience. Unfortunately this location…hair on my plate, dirty chairs and table, dirty silverware…yuk!

Terrible service. Was in the restaurant for over 2 hours and it took over 45 minutes to get our food when tables that came in after us were done and cleared. Food conveniently came out 2 minutes after asking. Food was fair, definitely had better

We’ve dined at this restaurant a few times and always enjoyed it but unfortunately, things were not the best today. I ordered the Haywire brunch burger and firstly, wasn’t asked how I wanted it cooked but also, the egg was missing from my burger. When I let my waitress know about the missing egg, she brought out two over easy eggs and I had to put them in my burger myself. Needless to say, it was extremely messy and I ended up barely using any of the egg because of the mess it was creating to try to do it. I know that it was a holiday today so I understand that it was chaotic for the staff but for the price point of this restaurant, I expected more. Ending on a more positive note - The staff are very kind and I do enjoy the ambiance of the place.

We will not be returning to this establishment. Five of us came for Easter brunch. We had made a reservation a couple weeks in advance. We were put in a back room withno ambience whatsoever. Music was loud to begin with, but then volume was increased to the point we couldn’t have a conversation. It was so crowded, my husband was squished into the table to allow the server to pass. There were two large parties dining at the same time as us, so the noise level became ridiculously loud with the music & all the people shouting to be heard. My son waits 15 minutes for a Diet Coke while they changed the lines. I was told they couldn’t make toast to go with my breakfast, even though there is avocado TOAST on the menu. I did get a piece of lukewarm bread passed off as toast. The server never asked us about beverage refills or asked us about validating parking, which we found out they do, after paying $16 for an hour of parking. The main dining area did not have ear drum blasting music we noticed upon exiting. Thanks to Haywire, our Easter family brunch out was ruined.
