We have been to Hawtree's Pub and Grill on several occassions in 2024. Each time we have been delighted with our meal and have planned to return. Having a special plated brunch for Easter and then again, with a slightly different menu, on Mother's Day was very much something we looked forward to. The restaurant is clean and cheerful. The chef and waitstaff are excellent. The view cannot be beat. We highly recommend this enjoyable restaurant.

Hawtree's is up and coming! The chef is superb and the head waitress is amazing. I like the fact that Chef Melissa and Server Rita have kept the kitchen open throughout the winter and have extended the hours so people can have lunch as well as dinner on Wednesdays through Sundays. The new (as of a year ago) owners of the golf course and the restaurant have really made the restaurant an inviting gathering spot. Thanks to Melissa, the food is always beautifully presented and delicious! And thanks to Rita, the food is served with flair and a smile! On Easter there was a special plated brunch that was delightful. There was nothing better than having Easter brunch while looking out at towering Mt. Mitchell and the picturesque front nine. This is a restaurant that is worth coming back to again and again.

It was the off season so there was a limit menu which we weren't aware of, we were the only table in the restaurant. we were from out of town and had never been there before so we made reservations, not knowing it would be so slow, but the serve/bartender had a table set aside with a black linen tablecloth and decorative napkins. there were only a few people eating and drinking at the bar, but she did a great job and was very attentive. The next time we stay in the area we will definitely stop here again.

Very very friendly waitress. Food took very long to come out. We had to keep asking for water refills. Food was pretty good, but “medium” burger came out well done.

We ate late on Sunday evening. The food was amazing and the waitress was very informative, friendly and attentive. We will definitely return.

The view from the deck is stunning. This is one of the reasons why we like to take guests there to eat. Also, the person who makes the cocktails is an outstanding mixologist. We consider it a big treat to order a mixed drink there. The trout I had was delicious and well-seasoned. Yummy! They serve a vegetarian pasta often that my daughter-in-law gets that is satisfying and tasty. Salads are excellent as well with house-made dressing. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating.

We were disappointed that we came for the steak anc could only get the hamburger. We did not realize that the dinner menu was not available on a Wednesday night. Other than that, we had a great time. Our waitress was lovely, we sat out side in balmy weather and had a great view of the golf course and mountain.

Limited lunch and dinner menus. Burger and Reuben were good, but I don’t like fries with a coating. Calamari appetizer was over cooked, too much breading, not enough sauce. Waitress was cheerful, meals brought promptly. Great view from the deck, great place for a drink and to relax. Their trout dinner is only served on the weekends Fri-Sun. New owner is very pleasant and trying hard to make a go of the place. Give them a try!
