Great meats and sides as always. Areas to improve: Service slow in general drink forgotten by waitress and ask to bring wine sumalia took 20 mins (it was never passed on as we had to ask another waiter) Med rare steak cooked medium

Hawksmoor is a wonderful spot for dinner in London. We ate at the Air Street restaurant. The dinner took 2 1/2 hours. My wife’s iced tea took over 1 hour to come. The Dover Sole she had was wonderful. The rib eye I had was a bit tough but flavorful. The sides were all amazing and the desserts were outstanding. It is not inexpensive, especially in US dollars. The ambiance is warm, but it was a bit noisy .

Hawksmoor has a reputation for quality, service, top end dining and the best meat and food. This visit was nothing but disappointing. We ordered two Sunday lunches (The Sharing Platter) with a Chateaubriand and Cauliflower cheese) What was good - The Meat - lovely flavour and nicely cooked. What was bad - Slow service, over an hour before getting food, well over 40 minutes before we got a drink We were also told the side was unavailable 20 minutes after ordering and then watched at least 5 potions being served. The staff looked like it was dress down day. Many with dirty shoes, random Hawaiian shirts and many wearing dirty jeans. I do not expect staff to look like this in Hawksmoor. Get a uniform, get it professional and presentable. The staff also were shouting, many of them in different languages and appearinglyu arguing and barking orders. Our waiter was barely understandable and didn’t seem to care or know what he was doing Water marks on glasses and bottles…. Come on , clean them before using them. It’s TOP END! Dirty and heavily used plates…. Understand things can’t be new, but chipped and dirty plates being served, and visible by the waiter presenting them to us.. basics missing the mark here. Well over priced…. Full stop “All the Trimmings” this means Carrot, Roast Potato and Cabbage….. not quite what I suggest…. Stuffing was an extra £7 EACH!! Really disappointed a £150 Sunday lunch for two was like having a nice piece of meat and taking it to Toby Cavery.

My girlfriend and I went to the Hawksmoor on Air for a Sunday Roast dinner / lunch. This review will be written in two parts. The good - the food here is incredible, every part of the Sunday roast was amazing and the sticky toffee pudding was one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten. The bad - our service was horrendous, when we sat down, we ordered our Sunday Roast almost immediate at 15:32 and were told at 16:48 they never put our ticket in and would rush out our order. Thankfully it came out 16:55. As a result our server promised comped desserts for our trouble and patience. Unfortunately he didn’t come back to take this order for 15 minutes after informing us, further testing the patience. We had to flag down another server for our bill at 17:45 where we quickly paid and left. I was really looking forward to this meal and the food was great but it was some of the worst service I’ve ever received. Ended up having 5 different servers throughout our time here and never felt welcome despite being patient and polite during our time.

Came to celebrate our anniversary, we asked to be moved first as we were right next to the bar and very noisy, they moved us further into the restaurant and it was much nicer. The food is very nice, we both had starters, pork ribs and scampi, we shared a porterhouse with a few sides and desserts were 👌, we went for a strawberry cheesecake and a sticky toffee pudding sundae, highly recommended. We were quite disappointed though at the restaurant for not acknowledging our anniversary as they had on previous occasions, and the server didn't really engage much with us, so overall let the experience down a bit.

Always amazing … best steak and service in London imo. Abir our waiter was awesome and the bar-table-waiter (didn’t get chance to get his name) couldn’t do enough for us to keep lush cocktails flowing … if you haven’t been, you’ll never know ! 100% every visit !

I wish I took our waiters name. He was amazing. Friendly, funny, attentive, helpful and just wants to help you have the loveliest time. It was his first week and you would think he had been there for ages We had the oysters and the breakfast. Absolutely yum!! Definitely recommend!
