The food was ok, and the service was friendly and pleasant (but not proficient). Some of the meat skewers were a bit over cooked and the vegetables seemed to be pre-packaged and thawed. Overall, an ok, but certainly not great experience.

Fine but not as good as previous visits, it felt like they either changed ownership or lost someone they really needed there.

We ate here prior to seeing a show at the Aronoff. We had a reservation at 6pm. We were quickly seated, our service was excellent. It was our first time there and they were very helpful with suggestions. We started with the okonomiyaki- a Japanese seafood pancake. It was delicious. We shared the house special- Malaysia curry noodle bowl with udon noodles with chicken, tempura shrimp and eggplant & 6 skewers (curry lamb & black pepper pork was our fav) with rice and Asian slaw. Everything was excellent, it reminded us of being back in Japan. We will definitely be back again.

Sadly, our night wasn’t good. Arrived on time and ordered a round of drinks and an appetizer. 35 minutes later, we had to ask if what we ordered was on its way. Dinner was ordered and still not ready 1 hour and 15 minutes after we arrived. Can’t really comment on the food, we only had an appetizer. Good news is, they didn’t charge us for it or drinks. Bad news, our 7 yo grandson was starving! Staff was cordial but unorganized (three different servers came by to take our order), we just never got our food.

Second time I’ve been here and it was wonderful once again. We had a large group to celebrate and birthday. The staff was beyond wonderful. We ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious. The staff was so pleasant and made the birthday celebration a memorable experience. This is one of my favorite new dining spots and if you haven’t tried it I suggest you do. It’s just a gem!!!

Went for our son’s birthday for the first time. Waited on immediately and everyone was so attentive and friendly. We had the Takoyaki for an appetizer, kabobs with sides and Japanese curry soup. Everyone loved the food and we will definitely go back!

I'm still thinking about the tempura squid (it was actually octopus and pretty outstanding). Everything we had (cucumber salad, several skewers, tempura seafood, and tornado potato) were awesome! The tempura was a darker batter than I'm used to, and the flavor of it was better than other tempuras I've had. I want to try different things on the menu, but I also want everything I tried this time again. Service was reasonably fast; we were there at the beginning of dinner on a weeknight.
