Lovely dining at Haven UWS! Everything that we had was delicious, including the ricotta toast, gnocchi, and seared tuna. Chocolate chip cookies were the perfect way to finish the meal. Beautiful space and thoughtful service. We will definitely be back!

A great addition to the neighborhood! A comfortable space (particularly the back room) with friendly and attentive service and an interesting menu. Everything we ordered was delicious! We highly recommend the tuna and the babka sundae dessert.

The food was great. My partner and I shared a salad, an entrée, and aside and all three were delicious. The salad had a wonderful roqueford cheese. the falafel burger was moist and delicious. And the side farro had plenty of flavor.

I’m not sure why they allow a brunch reservation at 2pm since they advertise that brunch ends at 2 but I made the reservation unknowingly. I worked in restaurants for two decades in this city so I understand the ups and downs of service. I don’t ever write reviews but since you asked… we arrived at 2 for our brunch res and in the front room it looked like things were winding down and I know it’s a bad sign when the chef pokes his head out of the kitchen because the door opened at the end of shift and some customers wandered in hoping to get a bite. My mother asked if they were still open and we were led back to a cute corner table. Then we were not even looked at for 15 minutes. I’m not a waver over kind of diner but my mother was having feelings about this and ready to leave. The first thing the server said to us was oh my god ladies, you need water. I said we need everything. We ordered food and beverages but didn’t get the actual water for another 30 minutes. I asked for a green tea and the server said I don’t know if we have green but I know we have black. I know this is knitpicking but for a cute place on the upper west side to bring out a bag of Lipton tea, come on. That’s deli tea not restaurant brunch tea. Even a diner would give me earl grey or English breakfast. And she kept saying the water was boiling like it was a big process but it took another 15 mins and out comes a Lipton tea? Oy. My mom ordered the miso matzo ball soup. We probably could have used the matzo balls as weapons. She also got a good salad. I order the BEC taco which was ok. The food was ok and then the bill was over $80 for two people that were only there for maybe 45 minutes. When we left the place smelled like bad fryer oil. To me, just not worth it to go there again.

This is a new restaurant, only open for about three months. The food was delicious and the staff was exceptional.
