Our Italian wines come from conscious winegrowers and reflect their unique personality together with their hard work, heart and passion. Our cuisine Is “Slow Food inspired” because we believe in the Values of good, clean and fair food. The ingredients we use for our plates are sourced in a sustainable way. They reflect the close relationships that, time after time, we build with local farmers, cheesemakers, brewers and all the artisans that are truly committed to our same goal.

The food was sub par and very expensive for small portions served in large dishes. The wait staff was not attentive and waited an hour for main course . Not impressed!

Food was great! I always love my pasta al denté. The wait was a little long for a reservation but at least there was live music to listen to.. the host/owner was affable and had great wine recommendations. We had a group of 6 so it was nice to be able to accomodate it

Adorable, warm atmosphere. We had wine, and were given options to test without asking, which was a great touch. We had the artichokes and octopus to start, and then had carbonara and amatriciana for dinner. All absolutely fantastic. I have been left dreaming about the cavatelli. We had one espresso martini and an espresso with amaro to finish (with another taste test of course). The wait staff was kind and inviting. They gave us recommendations to go out after (although I regret going out because I couldn’t take my leftovers with me). The most special touch was one of the bartenders playing my favorite Italian artist, Lucio Battisti, and we sang his signature song together. In short, go here.

Upon entering, the ambiance immediately sets a positive tone with its delightful decor and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, while the setting impresses, the service and organizational aspects leave much to be desired. The restaurant operates without a hostess or a modern check-in system, leading to a chaotic seating process. Despite having a reservation, we observed newer arrivals being seated ahead of us, a frustrating experience that diminished our initial excitement. The absence of a structured system to manage the queue or reservations, such as an iPad or designated host, contributed significantly to the confusion. Seating at the bar, proved uncomfortable and did not align with our expectations of a relaxed dining experience. This arrangement seemed more a makeshift solution rather than a thoughtful seating plan. As for the staff, their performance was a mixed bag. Some members were outstanding, providing attentive and friendly service, while others seemed disengaged The cuisine, much like the service, was underwhelming. While the presentation was acceptable, the flavors and portions did not justify the premium pricing. The food was simply okay and did not excite our palates in a way that matched the costs. In summary, while this place shines with its superb ambiance, it struggles with service efficiency and food quality that does not live up to expectations. A more organized seating method and consistent staff performance might elevate the dining experience to match the charm of its environment.

I booked for the cellar experience for the regular tasting menu, which is a prefix menu based in seasonal ingredients, everything on the traditional italian cuisine and paired with vintage wine. The experience was unforgettable. Im a big lover of this restaurant, and as my first time on the cellar won't be the last.

Alessandro the owner served us for our meal which was great, he takes care of every single detail. Everything that we ordered was so delicious. We will keep Have& Meyer on our radar whenever we got back to Brooklyn.
