We had a table of 5 people, another friend joined us after who did not eat and just had water, the rest ate and had drinks, because we were seated as 6 , a 20% tip was automatically added to the bill! This happened sitting outside on Saturday afternoon. May 11th , won’t be returning soon

Came for brunch and we all loved it! Great value, great portions, the food is inventive, healthy and filling. We all had different dishes and all of us were pleased. Have been to Havana many times but only a handful for brunch. Service was friendly and attentive. Loved it!

Picked the wrong spot to catch up with friends. The sound level is off the charts. We had to yell at each other to converse. Food is good and service was excellent but if you are interested in actual conversation perhaps this isn't the place for that

Very accommodating staff, service was also exceptional despite being busy.....the food I tried was delicious and delivered timely. Id definitely recommend to anyone thinking of a nice spot to be in for abit and enjoy some good company. I'll be going again soon !

There was a lot of plantations on the menu and if you don’t care for them one has to sort of Bob and weave to pick your order. Also protein options were limited - so if you’re doing some sort of keto protein diet this may not be the place. Our waiter was easily the best waiter I have ever had and the energy was fun. We had a great salad and shared enchiladas with pork added - our neighbours had paella and it looked good!

Very, very noisy inside but they thankfully seated us outside where we could hear each other talk. Otherwise exceptional in all factions but pricey like everywhere else.

Havana has consistently great service and good food. I like the option to sit outside. Like most restaurants, the music is way too loud for conversation. But at least it’s Cuban music.

We were early on a Wednesday 1130 am . Choice of seats but it filled up rapidly. Big issue is if you sit facing the street your dining partners will be in silhouette. Noisy+. Food 4.5, tasty. Service very efficient! Plan to look for parking

I recently dined at Havana, and my experience was a mixed bag. The ambiance was decent, albeit a bit noisy, but it was manageable. However, the food left much to be desired, considering the hefty price tags attached to the dishes. The portion sizes were disappointingly small, which didn't quite justify the high prices. On the bright side, the ceviche was flavorful, and the tostones were a personal favorite, offering a satisfying crunch and taste. Unfortunately, our order of pulpo y chorizo ended up being just chorizo as they had run out of octopus, leaving us a tad disappointed. However, one saving grace was taking advantage of the happy hour deals on some dishes and drinks, which helped alleviate the overall cost. In summary, while Havana has its highlights, such as tasty appetizers and convenient happy hour specials, the expensive prices and small portions may leave diners feeling underwhelmed.

Very pleasant ambiance. We went at a quiet time which is nice for conversation but have been there at a busy time which is also nice for the festive atmosphere. Good food, good service. Nothing to complain about. Will be back.

Environment was nice, service friendly but unattentive. We waited a while to order additional food and drinks and the restauant did not seem particularily busy.

Great Food. Had the Paella. Wonderful. And Potato Tostes. Yummy. Lovely Venue. Music could be on the lower volume side. Great place to come with friends.

Every occasion is perfect match. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and the dishes and drinks are also fantastic too. My go to restaurant in Vancouver is Havana.

2 tacos for $18 was a little pricey. I ordered pizza when i got home after my date because I was still hungry. Otherwise, service was good and the food itself was tasty. Cool ambience.

Food tasted good but portion sizes made me wonder if they really wanted to be part of dine out to attract new customers or not. Overall ok but I won’t be rushing back.

Havana has been a commercial drive staple for years. It’s generally great- tasty cocktails. Our server for brunch was excellent. Only issue was food portions for brunch were noticeably small. I expect to pay for increased food costs / living wages for staff but I shouldn’t leave hungry after ordering a breakfast main. The table beside us also commented and debated ordered 2 rounds of the pancakes just to avoid leaving hungry.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The tacos are so flavourful and the ceviche is our favourite. Last night and on our previous visit, we were seated by the host and had to wait almost 25 minutes before a server came by to take our first drink order. Overall it was a great experience, but staff need to tune up their communication with one another.

Nice accessible non-gendered washrooms! Yay. Should add garbage bins, separate from the paper towel baskets…. Sometimes there are other things to be disposed of.

Dine out Vancouver menu was average at best… lots of hidden extras on menu. We should have just ordered off the regular menu. Staff were helpful.

The food at Havana is fantastic. I've never had a dish that I didn't enjoy; it's why we return. Unfortunately, it's very loud in the main part of the restaurant, and that doesn't allow for enjoying the company you are with the full extent because it's hard to hear conversations. The heated patio is a much better option, if it's not too cold outside.

We had a great NYE and celebrated the countdown there. The team were fun and made it very enjoyable for us. Food and drinks are always nice there with several good vegan options

The waitress didn’t ask my husband what he wanted to order. She just left. We assumed she was coming back but she never did and then we all got our food and he didn’t. The food we did get was SMALL portions for the cost. And honestly wasn’t that great. Very much love going there for brunch but definitely not dinner.
