The food is interesting and mostly well-executed. The entree portions were skimpy and, while they were tasty, presentation and "heartiness" were lacking. The corn bread is great, the drinks were varied and interesting, and the service was excellent.

We had a lovely meal. The corn bread was sensational. We had two mains and the bread and it was just right for us. The fish was well cooked and very fresh.

Great food. Not very attentive service. We were there 1,5 hours before closing - we felt as if part of staff longing to go home.

Dinner exceeded my expectations. The food was incredible. Marcus Samuelson melded both his Ethiopian and Swedish cultures to create a brilliant menu. Can’t wait to back.

We returned because our first experience was very good. Unfortunately not so last night. Our table was not great, we were 5 people and it was hard for the person at the end of the table to reach the shared items. We had to wait for menus, only 2 on the table. Once we received our menus we ordered drinks and a bread basket. The Bread is delicious. We decided not to order appetizers and instead ordered side dishes to go with the entree’s. I think it took about 30 mins for the food to arrive. We had ordered 4 sides, only 3 were served, finally we got the 4th (couscous) but some of us had already finished our main courses. No apologies, no explanation. I would suggest if people order sides, small plates should be brought to the table to place the sides on their own plates. We ordered the plum tart with Thai caramel, caramel was a little burnt. Tart was very good.

The food was delicious. Although the portions were on the smaller side. The special cocktail menu was great. The nonalcoholic drinks were very tasty too. Especially the drink with coconut milk. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice experience overall.

We had high expectations and honestly were a little bit disappointed. The prices were pretty high and the portions pretty small and the expectant Swedish/Ethiopian contrast in cuisines didn't really materialize as much as we had hoped. The spicing on the chicken in the paella (not called paella but like paella) was delicious and unusual, just wish more of the meal was as new and as eye-opening. The cornbread was great! The restaurant itself is lovely and the tables fun and unusual (little 3 sided tables at the bar in front of the kitchen is a great idea).

We sat at table facing people entering the restaurant, the seating was weird and odd, hard to talk to the people at the table. Food was ok and the service was attentive. Overall it was fine, but a little bit out of the way.

Last night's dinner at Hav & Mar was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we sat down, every dish surpassed our expectations. The Hav bread basket was a divine start, setting the tone for an evening of culinary excellence. The crudo trio was an extraordinary blend of flavors and textures, showcasing the freshest seafood beautifully. The crab cake salad was a delightful balance of sweet crab meat and crisp, fresh greens, making each bite a true pleasure. As for the mains, the Queens ribeye was cooked to perfection, with each mouthful bursting with flavor. And the grand lobster jubilee was simply heavenly, a decadent masterpiece that left us speechless. This is a restaurant for a date night, friend meetup, or celebration. The tuna tartare was great and the Jamaican-inspired dishes were excellent.

Good was very tasty especially the hamachi, bread basket, and collard greens. The service was extremely slow. Our waiter was not attentive; he took over 15 min to bring us water and rarely ever checked on us. He told us that our dessert was brought to the wrong table and he let it sit there for about 10 minutes before he realized, but didn't offer us a fresh dessert.

The food at Hav & Mar is exceptional: awards say so, and our experience this week confirms it. The exquisite appetizer we had, hamachi with black ceviche, combined hamachi with lightest smoky flavor with matchstick vegetables and a coin of freshest radish. Bucatini with crab and shrimp in butter sauce refined the butter to the lightest sauce. Wine was exceptional too. We'll tell our favorite people to go.

I didn’t love the location (just too out of the way of civilization) but the food was phenomenal! Nothing we ordered was a miss. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

The tuna tartar and snapper with coconut rice were the outstanding dishes among the things we ordered. The restaurant is beautifully designed and not as loud as we initially feared. Our charming server, Christian, provided a padded chair and rectified a rather meager pour with our second glass of wine.

The space is nice, although it is that design style in a new building that tells you that you could be anywhere. The big disappointment was the food and service. The food took forever to show up and when it did it tasted like mass produced event plating. As for the delay in getting the food, the waiter, who was pleasant, explained that they had a large group and it slowed things down. We did not see this group anywhere, and in any case. This is a very big restaurant and so I'm not sure how they could be notably impacted by a large group. Bottom line, none in my party will be returning.

Great ambiance and service. Get the Jubilee - it’s lobster, jerk chicken, fish, clams and mussels over rice. It serves 2-3 and is fantastic.
