The rice in the rolls were not cooked all the way, found a hair on my dish upon eating, and another one in the ice cream birthday treat. Service was good though and tuna crispy rice was good.

The food was good, but the sushi service was very slow. They need another chef to keep up with the number of patrons. Our server was lovely, though. For sure we will be going back.

Mikey at the sushi bar is amazing. Had the best roll of my life. A frequent Oceanside visitor but this is my new favorite location

The food was fresh and delicious. They were super busy so service was slow but the manager handled it perfectly checking in on us and offering a dish from the kitchen while we waited for our rolls. Since this is a new location I am sure they will work out the kinks. We will be back!

Service was not just slow but inattentive. Food timing was off. Hoping some time will improve the kinks.

Chalking it up to being newly opened- but we had issues from start to finish. My partners dinner came out 20 min before my sushi rolls. We never received our appetizer. When the rolls finally came out , one looked mushy and was just thrown on the plate- terrible presentation. They ran out of wine. Our server, although sweet and clearly overwhelmed, never checked in to apologize for the delay or refill our drinks. She ended up taking off the roll and I overheard the manager apologizing to another table. Having gone to the location in Oceanside and enjoyed it, I may consider giving another try in several months once they get a flow going.

If you love Old Town and Oceanside, then you will love Poway. Still can’t believe there is a location here!! So excited to be a regular and order all the time on the weekend. The chefs were so nice enough to make OG rolls that aren’t even on the menu anymore, THANK YOU!! Service was great and fast

The service from the host to the busboy to our server was very good. We ordered some sushi, fried rice and teriyaki chicken. All except the teriyaki chicken was excellent. The teriyaki chicken was a bit too tough and dry. Ambience wise, it was a little bit too noisy for a sushi place, and one of the guys behind the sushi bar was a little too rowdy, drinking his beer while at work. That kind of spoilt the ambience for us.

Server was awesome....she was soooo kind and polite and helpful!!!! This was the best part of the night...her hospitality. The unfortunate circumstance was that they were out of many items that our party of 7 wished to order. It was right when they opened on a sunday night so not sure why soo many items were out of stock. No salmon filet, no seabass, etc....staples that should be on hand. And took a LONG time to get sushi....where we were just sitting waiting for food and members of the party were starving from waiting so long. Definitely pricier than other places and taste/quality wasn't necessarily better. have been to the other Harney's so disappointing to experience the shortage of items that we weren't able to try.

Loved the Orange Crush and James Bomb rolls, I was also impressed with the generous portions. I would recommend if your are in the Poway area.

Delicious nigiri, steak, calamari and yakisoba! Kid friendly but also upscale - we needed a nice sushi restaurant with quality sushi and a modern atmosphere in Poway. Thank you!

Food was great, but considering they just opened it took about an hour to get our order. I won't disparage them for that, as it's as expected. We ordered the Flaming Lips, Rolls Royce, Bentley, edamame, and chicken teriyaki. I would recommend any of the rolls we ordered. My son didn't like or finish the chicken teriyaki though.
