Le nom Hapa est dérivé du terme hawaïen qui décrit un mélange harmonieux de cultures asiatiques et américaines. Comme son nom, sa nourriture reflète cette combinaison dynamique. We were looking for a simple, tasty dinner before a DCPA performance, and Hapa fit the bill. The service was prompt and attentive. Our edamame were delightfully plump and juicy. The Hapa rice beer is a nice complement to the nigiri, which was creatively garnished/seasoned. Dinner in an hour and a nice walk back to the theater!

I had heard this place was really good from a couple people. So I was very disappointed when the service was poor. There was only a couple more people in there so there really was no excuse.

Love this spot. The food is reasonably priced and delicious, awesome sake selection, and I love the liveliness of it! Not too loud and no music I noticed but lots of chatter which I personally love on date nights or dinner with friends. Their eel is incredible and we tried the seared ahi tuna this time which was amazing! The Fuji apple salad is so delicious too! Absolutely love this spot

We love all of the Hapa locations. First time at this one though. Such a creative menu and excellent selection of quality sushi. Their crafted cocktails, especially the ume margarita, were stellar. It was an easy walk from the Tundra lot at Ball arena for a pre Madonna concert dinner. We’ll definitely be back.

Hapa is always our goto for sushi for event or to share with folks new to the area. Last night it was rather loud, folks in surrounding tables were very loud and the accoustics at our table was like a funnel, we could barely chat with our table mates. Staff was over burdened with too many tables.

My friends and I have gone to Hapa many times over the years, but it has seriously declined. From being sat 15 minutes late for our reservation, weirdly mixing sparking and still water, finding hair in our food, watching dust fall from the ceiling into our food, food coming out late, half of us getting sick when we got home, and MANY other issues, this place is not worth the headache. I will have to say that our server was very kind and attentive to our needs & situation, but the whole ordeal was not worth the money or time. We won’t be coming back here again as we had a similar experience the previous time we came, decided to give it another chance, and were seriously let down.

The food was decent, the service was good, in a positive note the food was delivered to the table quickly. We really enjoyed the salmon. But the sushi is very basic but not that great.

Fantastic quality across the board. I eat out a lot and more sushi restaurants than any other. This menu offers everything from filling delicious entrees void of seafood, sushi for the casual first timer or specialty rolls for the connoisseur all at a great price for the quality. Our waiter Christopher was extremely friendly and attentive yet not overbearing. I look forward to returning

We had a fabulous dinner at Hapa. The fish was extremely fresh and we received decent size pieces of sashimi. They also had a nice selection of Sake. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The bartender and our server were both wonderful! Our server was super patient and understood we were friends who came to catch up over some good food. She didn't bug us too much, but made sure we had all we needed. Food was great too and I love that they have gluten free sushi.
