I frequently dine at a the one DT Denver/Lodo and in comparison at dining at the landmark location for the first time the portions were so small I thought I ordered from a kids menu. I’m not sure if it was just that particular time but it was odd to me when I order the same thing always and it was so underwhelming. Service was pleasant but the food is inconsistent to the other locations.

Every Hapa has its own charm & even in construction, Hapa DTC had great service, food & drinks from start to finish. Our server was attentive & accommodating, the food was fresh & absolutely delicious & the vibes were great. Do yourself a favor & order the Aspen Roll, incredible! We absolutely love Hapa!

I wasn’t very impressed by the sushi. The fish wasn’t as fresh as it should be. The new style sashimi was not seasoned very well and the fish wasn’t very tender. We didn’t try any sushi rolls, but that may have been a better option. The service was slow and the waiter appeared to be running even though there were many bus people and many hosts.

The only negative comment I have about this visit is that you are seated with the ginger and wasabi right away. The ratio of wasabi was pretty scarce according to what we ordered. It would make most sense to serve it with the amount of sushi ordered.

Prom night had things a little wild and it was our daughter’s 20th. The Melting Pot canceled our reservation last minute and we were scrambling, but Hapa took us in. Always good and the staff was great despite it being a crazy night for them.

We had to sit at the table right next to the door. It was cold and snowing outside so we froze EVERYTIME the door opened. We asked to move but they couldn’t move us. Get rid of that table.

Hapa happy hour is the best happy hour in town. Even though they are in the midst of some remodeling of the bar area, it is still great. The servers are kind, courteous, attentive and make the whole experience great every time.

This is our second time eating here and the sushi has been great both times. The size and quantity of the rolls is solid and the variety should suit almost all sushi tastes. The one very minor knock is the restaurant has been pretty busy/crowded both times we've gone. It's nothing significant that would ruin the experience in any way but just something to note. Either way, we will definitely be back.

We had a great time celebrating my husbands birthday! Emily our server was Soo wonderful and so accommodating! She was such a great server!!! Monkey Brains, Asparagus Tempura & Dragon Roll don’t disappoint! Purple Haze Sake was a great addition & save room for the Banana Bread for dessert!

So it was a while since we have been back because last time we went it took over an hour just to get appetizers to us. They knew it was a drop the ball moment and gave us gift cards to come back. This experience was not much different. The waitress came by to say hi then disappeared for 15-20 minutes we had to flag her down to get a drink order in. She never checked on our table and seemed to be more interested in helping other tables. We dined and never was asked for drink refills or anything. It was nearly impossible to get our check and pay. I’m not sure if I am getting the same server but after two in a row poor experiences I am unsure if we will be back.

Very crowded, very loud. Waited 15 minutes past reservation time, though manager did provide a free appetizer for the inconvenience. Service was slow due to the large crowd. Waited 25 minutes for drinks because there was one bartender servicing both the lounge and the restaurant. Food was good. Surf and Turf roll was outstanding.

Best sushi and the absolute best service we have ever had! The quality of the sashimi yellowtail ponzu w jalepeno was amazing. The Kristy rice ahi is the best thing on the menu. The new sashimi w orange and truffle is a must

The sushi is always excellent, as was Erin, our server. The manager, Andy, was attentive to our wait time and brought edamame as we were delayed a few minutes.

This has always been my goto sushi spot and it was excellent again. The statue of liberty roll and the Mork & Mindy roll never miss. We usually get the house hot sake, which is ok. I might branch out next time. I did get two Japanese whiskey cocktails that were different each time. I wasn't upset because both were still very good.

Typically, the food is great. This time, everything we ate was off. I think the sushi chef didn't know what he was doing because nothing came out right and didn't taste like it should have

One of the best lunches that I’ve had in a long time. My husband and I had forgotten how wonderful their sushi is. Our server was outstanding. We will be coming back soon!

This place never disappoints! Anytime we come to Denver, we always make a point to store here! Excellent sushi and specials! Shout out to Jason, our amazing sushi chef who always takes care of us! Wendy was great too! Even sang Happy Birthday! 👏🏼 🥰🥳 Excellent food! Great Service!

I have been coming to HAPA since 2012 for good service, value and ambience. Shrinkflation is real. It’s upsetting when we don’t get the exact amount of what we believe we paid for. I am a small eater but one serving of suchi rolls was a meal for a child.
