Le nom « Hapa » provient du terme hawaïen qui décrit un mélange harmonieux de cultures asiatiques et américaines. À l'image de son nom, la nourriture de ce restaurant reflète cette combinaison dynamique. Le menu est basé sur les principes fondamentaux de la cuisine traditionnelle japonaise, qui sont ensuite amplifiés, modifiés ou mélangés à des influences de différents styles de cuisine jusqu'à ce qu'ils se transforment en quelque chose de complètement nouveau : ils sont « Hapa ». Le Hapa a fait éclater les limites de la créativité pour développer des plats qui défient toutes les règles, tout en restant fidèle à ses racines. I've eaten at Hapa several times for both lunch and dinner, and was always pleased with the quality of the food in the service. Unfortunately, unfortunately, we did not have the same experience this time. We ordered three different specialty rolls and they were terrible. We even returned one of them because it had a terrible squishy smell. Edamame was terrible, and I don't know how you can mess up edamame, but it was mushy and tasted funny.

My friends and I had a great time and Lexi our server was phenomenal! The DJ wish he was playing music sooner but he was a whole vibe when he did DJ! 🎶

We visited this location for a work-team lunch. As always, the service and food were amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect. From the minute we were treated until we paid the bill, our server was friendly, fast, and efficient.

Everything was wonderful! We went for happy hour. The selection was vast and the portions were ample. We tried several things, but especially liked the Magic Mushrooms and Tuna Taro Poke! Loved it!

It was Vday and we made a reservation prior but still had to wait. But after 10 minutes we were seated and everything was good. They even gave us some complementary edamame for our wait our server was nice the food was good. No complaints here

Our first visit to this location. Food was excellent. Service was very good. Given the fact that it was Valentine's Day, the place was extremely busy and packed. Seating was very close together. Conversations between the tables blended together. The takeout line was out the door and extending to the table next to us. Once again, conversations with waiting customers and people on their phones, was not a pleasant ambience.

3rd time here and it's been great each time. All food is very fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. I really love the agedashi tofu appetizer. I get it as a main course. Have tried several rolls and all are excellent.

We had not been to the cherry creek location since they moved to the bigger location, and it was a nice surprise. Plenty of space to sit, lots of reservations available, even at the last minute. The sushi bar is still prominent, but also nicely behind a partial wall. The specials are always fun - the bacon wrapped mushrooms were great. Staff was very friendly, checking and departure were met with pleasant greetings.

My wife ordered a honey miso salmon bowl and asked for the salmon to be just pink inside. The salmon came out well done. The waitress graciously took it back. When the new piece was brought back it was raw on the inside. They graciously took the charge off our bill but we would rather have had the fish cooked correctly. That being said we have been here a number of times and have enjoyed the fare.

Terrible service. We had a 7:15 reservation and arrived about 45 minutes early; we had zero issue waiting as this was totally on us. They sat us at the counter after about 20 minutes (awesome!); the counter is nice because you hand your sushi order to the chef directly in front of you and he makes it right then and there (ours was Vincent and the rolls he made were great and the presentation was very nice). However, it took forever to get waters, then another lifetime to place our drink orders, we then waited what felt like a hundred Sundays to get our drinks. No one offered to refill our water until we were completely done with our dinner, and our waitress never came back to offer to order us another drink (which we did want one). The people surrounding us also looked frustrated. I recognize there’s a staffing shortage in a lot of places, but they never once mentioned that (I would have been far more understanding) and we saw several employees standing against the wall in the dining area just talking. We love the Cherry Creek area and this was our first at Hapa, and of all the great restaurants in the area, we definitely won’t be back to Hapa for a very long time, if ever.

This is our favorite sushi restaurant, and tonight was even better than normal. Everything tasted super fresh, and they never skimp on the fish compared to rice.
