I felt like it was lacking the “vibe” as described, but in a couple weeks they’re starting live music at night and I do think that would give it the “vibe” we were missing. I think it’s a nice establishment, looks cool, but with the MCM atmosphere I think the piped in music could be cocktail jazz, or a really fun and interesting genre from that era that folks could talk about, rather than the oldies playing when we were there.

Went on a second date here and the server was very nice. Place had a very cool vibe and would definitely go again.

I loved this space and the ambiance and dj !!! The food was good.. but things were a bit pricey.. the girl that waited on us was new so she dropped the ball multiple times in our time there.. but I would go back just for the drinks and ambiance. :)

The first time I made a reservation they called to cancel due to no heat which is fine with me i hate to be cold. Came back the following Thursday it still was freezing, the bartender started off nice but then my date came and he was just asking her a general question and then came the rudeness. We was ready to go after that and found a better bar with friendly staff and heat in the building. I won’t be coming back to Hammer & Nail.

The day we were here it was super cold. They ended up closing early because the heat wasn’t working. Otherwise great place for drinks and sushi.
