Our owner, Chef Richard Hales a four generation Tampa family since 1954, is back in his hometown of Tampa after 25 years away mastering Asian cuisine, opening award winning restaurants and appearing on the Food Network; beloved by the likes of Guy Fieri. Our seasonal menu features Asian techniques using the fi nest ingredients and availability of locally sourced produces. Chef Hales’ invites you to experience eclectic ambiance, elevated service and his version of Chinese cuisine.

    LOVED that a large portion of the menu is gluten free. We tried lots of dishes, family style. Everyone’s favorite was the Sichuan salt and pepper fried chicken nuggets and the Yangzhou Fries Rice.

    Food fantastic, came out quickly for a hungry crew and servers very attentive, restaurant was a bit loud but didn’t bother us. The only downside we experienced with the service is that even though we had a reservation we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. I’m sure this is unusual but it was a bit of a bummer.

    Always such a great and special experience every time we go see Chef Hales, and his team! By far one of the best restaurants in Tampa, we love taking our family and friends to share the experience and they always always go above and beyond highly recommend!

    Our favorite dining experiences in Tampa. Staff was helpful in selecting our dishes, knew about the flavors of the dishes and asked what we liked prior to our ordering. Bar service suggested two special drinks, both were perfect as well. It’s nice to go to a restaurant where the chef engages you personally. Both he and his wife were both interested in our experience. A treasure!

    posting relative to their service. Hostess, waitress, managers and owner. We interacted with all of them, all came to our table during visit. Our server was on point all night and very pleasant - on top of her both managers and owner stopped by table to see if needed anything and making sure we were enjoying our visit. Likely the best service I have had at a restaurant in quite some time.

    We were looking forward to dining here based on the other reviews. We found the service was excellent. We would definitely order the sticky rice and the cauliflower again, the egg roll and truffle rice seemed to lack flavor. We expected the prime ribeye would have some fat, but we would have liked it trimmed a little more since the sauce hides the fat. Overall the experience was less than expected, but we will try again in the future.

    Last night, my mother and I had the chance to finally enjoy a belated Mother’s Day dinner at a restaurant she’s been wanting to visit for a long time. We had an amazing time! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warm hospitality. The flavors and dishes were incredible, and the unique atmosphere really added to our experience. A highlight of the evening was when Chef Hale came to our table and shared a personal story about his upbringing and how it influences his cooking. It made our meal feel even more special. This was my third time dining there, and I can't wait for the next visit. Thanks to everyone for making it a memorable culinary adventure.
