Located in the center of Downtown Tampa right underneath luxury apartment complex The Element , Haiku is an indoor/outdoor eatery and lounge that combines modern Izakaya cuisine with a contemporary Asian vibe to elevate the dining and nightlife experience. The menu features signature favorites including the A5 Wagyu Hot Stone and Crispy Rice Salmon and Tuna Duo. The 150-seat restaurant and lounge offers several unique dining options including two bars complete with a handcrafted cocktail menu including our house favorite Dragons Breath Martini.
Haiku is open for dinner Wednesday-Sunday from 5:00 pm-11:00 pm

Our date was off to a really awful start. I made a reservation, showed up a few minutes early only for the hostess to be on the phone the while we stood in front of her for 10 minutes to finally rotate her screen for me to find my reservation on her list, then grabbing menus and motioning us to follow her, all without interrupting her phone call. We sat down for 20 minutes without any service until I went up to an employee requesting service. He comped our first drinks and did his best to make up for the terrible start which saved the evening. The food was good and the drinks were well done. I’d recommend the shrimp fried rice, the short rib and espresso martinis

First time there and food was really good. Can’t wait to come back. I really like my husbands short ribs.

Lovely staff delicious food stellar ambience. Great place for a girls trip or a romantic date. Mocktails are a great addition to the menu, get the chocolate bomb!

Great service, food and drinks. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helped us pick the perfect drinks. Will definitely be back!

Great restaurant and vibe for a pre-theater dinner. Gyoza, seaweed salad, and a couple rolls for the table. And love their mocktail menu. More places need to be like Haiku.

Great service and attention. I took my girlfriend out here because she was craving sushi and her cravings were met. The sushi was great and the mochi for dessert were delectable.

The food is pretty good along with the drinks. Overall feels a bit too expensive for what you get, but the vibe is great.
