Mothers Day. Arrived on time and quickly shown to our table. The specials were explained to us and we're the bar and facilities were. Bar service was slow. The food arrived quickly after ordering and was hot and well cooked as requested.

Food was great. Two desserts took a long while to be served but were very tasty once received. Only down side was, we asked for an inside table & we were seated right in front of the open patio doors with a cool breeze coming through them. If we'd had outside seating we could have had a heater beside us but there isn't this option inside.

Using the OpenTable App, I was able to book the last available table for 7 people, which was located in the Outside area for Mother’s Day Lunch and the only available time was 2:00pm, with a 2 hour timeframe. We arrived around 1:45pm and were seated by Xavier at 2:00pm, when we purchased some drinks. We had a lovely time catching up with our family and decided we should order our lunch, however when we went to the counter to place orders for lunch around 2:30pm, we were told the “kitchen is closed and no more orders can be taken.” We were absolutely gutted!! as we had been looking forward to enjoying a lovely lunch with family members that we hadn’t seen for some time. At no time were we advised what time the kitchen would be closing, which was absolutely disgraceful and poor form indeed. We finished our drinks and left, extremely disappointed and we won’t ever be back and will be posting a warning on Tripadvisor.

We had a lovely meal and we didn’t have to wait long, service was very good. The only thing I noticed it was abit noisy but due to the amount of people it is understandable .

I booked for a Mother’s Day lunch on 11 May. The booking was made on 4 May for six people on the seat selection of “standard” which is a vague classification at best but meant to put us inside the restaurant. On arrival we found our table to be 2 small round tables placed outside the restaurant & adjacent to the “Roasted Berry” in the bar area. No senior staff came to see us after we complained although we were given a complimentary coffee. Very poor service for a restaurant pretending to offer good dining.

I have de-briefed with the team r.e your experience as so we can aim to avoid such occurrences. I will review our booking system r.e. the 'standard' table. You can never add to many notes for us when making your booking. Tables inside the restaurant are '200' numbers if you wish to add those in the booking notes to give us guidance. Hadley’s mingara was top notch! Beautiful atmosphere live music, friendly staff that went above and beyond, scrumptious food, reasonable prices! Definitely worth going! Will be a go to for the family

Had dinner with wife before playing poker, had the 3 skewer entree plate, which was good, and a lamb pizza which was very good. As we only had shared plates it didn’t matter to us that the pizza came out when we hadn’t finished our entree, but I did notice that another table got their mains delivered when they were only half way thru their entrees, which I thought was pretty bad service. The resteraunt needs to get their timing right with dishes, I prefer to get my mains after my entree plates have been cleared. If I was the other couple I would have sent them back to the kitchen and then wanted fresh meals served when we had finished entree. It was like that just wanted to rush people thru rather than let them enjoy the food.

Had a look at specials board and salmon was advertised so I wanted to order that, hubby put the order in and came back, looking forward to my salmon yum yum….i got Barra….white flakes nice and tender but definitely not salmon, we asked the waitress and she said the salmon is the Mother’s Day special advertised on the pink menu, but I said it was definitely advertised on the white menu as tonight’s special, we both saw it and both waited for the electronic menu board to change to the white screen again…as I said it was nice but salmon, when ordering fish double check to see what fish you are going to get, and made a booking the night before for inside seating and when we arrived we were put outside, small issue I know but not what we selected on the open table app
