Ever since our great Aunt Bebe starting selling hamburgers and beer on her back porch during Prohibition, Hackney's has been making people happy!

Today we're famous for our big juicy Hackneyburgers on Hackney's Dark Rye® and our one-of-a-kind Hackney';s Original French Fried Onions®. Prohibition may be over, but our beer selling days are not. Hackney's has an ever-changing list of tap beers along with a full-service bar that can whip up any cocktail you can think of.

    Hackney’s is outstanding every single time. The onion loaf is a must and the burgers are always tremendous. Our waitress was excellent and the food was great.

    Hackney's not only has been a great restaurant for many years in our community. Their hamburgers are great and their onion brick is phenomenal. It is a restaurant that cannot be missed!

    It’s as I always remembered from the onion loaf to the Hackney burger. Delicious! Great service, too!

    Hi. The room we were in was very warm. When I asked what could be done, was told they’d try. Nothing was done. Food was fair. Burgers tasteless. Service was great. Young man was attentive and helpful. We used to go there alot. Not rushing back.

    The food and service were great. We were seated in a back room that was dark. I looked up at the lights and they were all covered in dust. Not very appetizing.

    The waitress took our order. We didn't see her for 30 minutes and we never received our appetizer. There was a man running everyone else's food and we asked about our food. He brought overdone onion rings and we refused them. He then brought our food. However, my husband ordered the special that was shown on all the tables. It was baked chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli. He received an overcooked chicken sandwich instead. We were then told that the special was for the previous day. A woman came to our table and apologized and brought new onion rights. The waitress never came back to our table, but we did see her walking around. We were there for 2 hours and the entire lunch was comped by the woman who brought our onion rings. We will never go back again.

    A mini family reunion was hosted at the Lake Street location. Oh, the memories, and the food did not disappoint. Great young staff and courteous environment...such a great tradition.
