This restaurant is so pretty and the service was very good. Too bad the food was so disappointing. We decided to go with some appetizers. They were tasteless and unappealing.

Very authentic Mexican restaurant. A bit toristy but the food was delicious. It’s was difficult to talk at our table due to the band playing ( although they were great. The lead singer was as incredible voice ).

used to love this place - it is sad how far down it has fallen. service was extremely slow and food was cold and just ok . probably won’t go back

Worst experience in the 25 years we’ve been coming to Cancun. It started with being seated and the waiter ignoring us for 15 minutes. He came over and we ordered drinks and he left. Next they gave our chips and salsa to another table and took their orders before ours even though they just sat down. We had to ask new chips and salsa and also water which we never received. We ordered our main meals and waited 20 minutes as everyone else were getting their meals. Our meals finally came out and they gave them to another table. When they realized the mistake they took the plates off of their table and brought them to us. Both meals were cold. We asked for the manager and she comped our drinks and appetizers. Never had this experience at hacienda sisal before. Left hungry and dissatisfied.

Family of 4...all adults now. We started with Queso Fundido and Chicirones...both were excellent as usual. My son and wife got the soup which they say was great. For our mains, my son and daughter got the enchiladas (green sauce) which they swear by. I got Ceasar Salad which was ok, not great (they had these weird circular soft croutons which were a fail). The place was noisy and fun again. Service was EXCELLENT. Prices were fine. We will go again next year as we have done for the last 17 years.
