With its location right on Lake Mission Viejo, it has spectacular views that can be enjoyed from the outdoor seating area and an extensive menu that features appetizers, soups, salads, seafood, grilled entrees and chef specials.

                                                                                  6/9/2024 Had reservations for a nice evening at Hacienda on the lake. We were greeted by Maria, Jose Pena and Miguel upon arrival. Kassandra was our amazing server. We started with drinks and chips with salsa. We visited with Miguel and Jose and spoke of our recent vacation. Great people. Kassandra took our entree order which was hot and tasty once delivered. The chicken enchiladas, chile rellenos, rice and beans were very good. We had two rounds of drinks with our favorite tequilla drinks. The ambiance is stellar. Highly recommended

                                                                                  The location right on Lake Mission Viejo is beautiful. The restaurant on a Sunday for lunch was not busy at all. Food and service were very good.

                                                                                  Excellent location, excellent service. All of the staff seemed happy and friendly and our waitress was great. Guacamole appetizer is delicious.

                                                                                  Best part of Hacienda is the lakefront location. Food is average and service is spotty. Very expensive. Granted we were there on Cinco de Mayo but the should have had their A game on and they didn't. Our server was nice but not very attentive. There are so many better Mexican restaurants in SoCal.

                                                                                  Had the huevos ranchero and it was one of the best I ever had. Service was excellent and we sat a table overlooking the lake. The only thing I would recommend is a little refurbishment, especially the bathrooms.

                                                                                  I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. The food was terrible, restaurant was empty....only saving grace was the margaritas and view of lake.
