We have been here before and had a better time. The meat was not enough for our party of 5 and we bought it for 6 people. In spite of requesting that the food not come at the same time it all did and the table was too full. My grill grate had allot of grilling debris on it and no oil our meat stuck to the grill and we could not eat it. I requested our waitress (when we could find her) to fix it and she finally did but it was too late. Most of the other foods were okay...but the 'ice cream" did not taste like real ice cream. All in all we were very disappointed and will not be back. The grill should have been in perfect condition before our party was seated. Not happy........place not taking care of things.

I like the location very much. Everyone was helpful and was able to guide us through the menu with ease. The meat was juicy, fresh, and very appetizing. I will definitely come again.

Overall, my most recent experience at the Beverly Hills Kyu-Kaku was insipidly subpar. I have frequented this location 3-4 times in recent months, but last nights experience really fell short. My partner and I ordered off the all-you-can eat menu, but only saw our server twice in the 90 minutes we spent here. I felt this deeply diminished the value of what we paid for. Furthermore, our waters were only filled by someone who was not tending to our section, soft drinks we ordered were never delivered that we were still charged for, and items we ordered off the menu in completion never made it to our table. I understand that some nights can be off and the mission of management is to operate as consistently as possible- I will still also attempt to come back to this location, but I do believe in providing transparency in order to keep the guests experience in mind. Conclusively, this is not the best review, but I look forward to a new experience that can remedy this one!

Horrible experience. I’ve been to Gyu-Kaku perhaps 50 times and this was by far the worst experience. From the minute we were sat my family and I were treated with much disrespect. Food was delayed. Several of my food items where not brought to me. Then my bill was brought to me with all items not given to me. When I mentioned why being charged for something I was not brought I was given the response it’s on it’s way and sure enough 2 minutes later they arrive after an hour wait. Horrible.

Loved my experience at this location, this time and every time before. Service is always good and the experience is really fun. Mariano is exceptional, too. He always remembers us!

We’re fist-time customers. Confusing menu. Waiter didn’t offer any suggestions. Kind of run down feel. I would not return to this restaurant.

Got seated 45 minutes after our reservation after being told we would be seated next another group who arrived late were seated before us. Took forever to get a waiter but she was very kind about our inconvenience and gave us a small discount. I wish the reservation stated that there would be an almost hour long wait as it ruined my plans for the evening. Would not visit this location again.

Service is extremely slow and our server is not well trained, can’t multitask and east to forget things. Attitude is not good neither. Won’t go there again and not recommended.

The service was ridiculous. We understood the restaurant was understaffed for the night but it took an hour and a half to get our meat. Took over an hour to get our drinks. We waited half an hour to get seated with our reservation. I wanted it to be a special evening for my partner and I but it was frustrating. We missed our plans later in the night just so we could at least have food on our plate. Very disappointing.

We had to wait for a bit beyond our reservation time. My assumption is they were understaffed since it was NYE. But we enjoyed the food we picked from the Holiday menu set. The meat is of very good quality hence a bit pricier than korean bbq

Food was really good but service struggled as they ran out of multiple dishes and elected for unlimited option but they were very slow to bring dishes. Manager comped kids meals was nice but they need to get more staff since they are very busy.

Looked extremely busy because of holiday season. Waited 15 mins until drink order. Some foods were canceled even after order acceptance. Overall, tasted good and volume of each dish was enough.

We had to wait 20 mins for our waiter to take our order. Then we never got several items during our whole time there. He explained and said they’re out of it. Such as cabbage salad, shrimp, seaweed salad. Then when he was changing our grill, he wasn’t handling it properly and it dripped on my seat and jacket and my husband’s jacket. No apologies or anything. We had a party of six, celebrating a birthday. Very unsatisfying experience wouldn’t recommend.

This was an incredible experience. It was our first time at Japanese barbecue and our server was beyond knowledgeable we had so much fun and the food was unbelievable I can’t wait to go back !

our waiter ryan was rude and non attentive! i have been coming to gyu for years now and never had a server that was this rude. he did not check once on us but attended to every other table there! He didnt even turn our grill on. If we asked him for a fork or a straw he would give us attitude! if he brought something to the table he would slam it down. I have been to gyu on a busier day and was served in a way nicer manner! overall felt very unwelcomed!

Waited forever for the wait staff to show up and take our order. No one came to check on us is we wanted more food. Had to wait for ages and get the waiter’s attention. Got the sake but no glasses. Very poor service

Came for lunch, service was a little lackluster trying to get seated and getting assigned a server, but our actual server was nice but forgot my bf's drink until I reminded 30 minutes later. Food was good and ambience was nice. Parked our own car and still had to pay for valet, says $13.50 but ended up being $15 if you don't have cash. Not the restaurant's fault but just something to be aware of!
