The first waitress we had was deceitful. She said that they only had canned soda and no fountain drinks which is a complete lie. She also said that they charge for any leftovers by weight. I confronted the host with my friend who immediately took action and apologized and assigned us another waiter. The second person was wonderful and even went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. They were kind, patient, and friendly. If we had been stuck with the first waitress my party and I agreed that we would have left the restaurant.

It was very delicious and great value. I loved the marinated beef, the salad, and the bibimbap. It was fun and safe to grill the meat and made it a fun activity. I went for my boyfriend's birthday and they sang him happy birthday and brought free ice cream. We also made a comment about the Smores and Julianna, the waitress, brought us free smores on the house. I had the mango tango cocktail and it was delicious.

We have been coming to Gyu Kaku for years, and unfortunately did not have a good experience last night. Firstly, we made a reservation for 7:00 and showed up on time with our full party of 7 people, yet we were not seated until 7:25. For the 7 of us, there was only one grill, which was very unaccommodating for our friend's dietary restrictions. Even though there were other tables available that suited our situation better, we were informed that there was nothing they could do. We came to celebrate a birthday (which I made a note of in our reservation) but the occasion was totally unacknowledged. Having been to Gyu Kaku to celebrate special occasions in the past, we were disappointed by the experience that night. Finally, many items that used to be in their lowest tier AYCE menu ("Premium") had been moved over to a higher tier, while being priced the same if not higher. Many favourites were missing from the table, thus forcing us to conclude that doing AYCE here has become much less attractive. Overall, as long term patrons of the franchise and this location in particular, we were disappointed.

Great place to experience BBQ style cuisine. Stuff was very attentive. Food was great, fresh and delicious. Very interactive way to have a dinner. I haven’t seen phones in my kids hands all the time we have been there. S’mores is a great touch for dessert!

First time and loved it, did the all you can eat. Food was great and it kept coming at a decent pace, they did let us order how much we wanted on the first order. The flavors of the meats are delicious and would 100% come back. There is so much to try recommend getting anything you would normally get. Umakari Ribeye, angus beef rib, toro beef, & ofc pork belly are my reccs. Gyoza dumplings were also AMAZING!

Server came over just enough, paid about 40 dollars each for 2 people for a total of 85$ before tip on the a la carte menu! Ordered two orders of dumplings, bowl of ramen, one order of steak each, and a bowl of garlic noodles, plus a desert each! Everything was hot and came out in a reasonable time and tasty, cool experience as well.

We normally have great service. Manuel was terrible tonight. Also we didn’t get our drinks until halfway through our meal- same with the rice and soup. We had to beg to get water. Not okay for those prices and we are regular customers.

It was such a wonderful surprise to dine at Gyu-Kaku. It was beautifully designed and spacious. Everything was well maintained and clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the food was superb. Went for a birthday but will be back.

Well it started off rocky. Got there early sat at the bar but no bartender. Several staff members came to the bar after about 10 minutes someone ask me am I waiting for something. Then i said i would like to order a drink. Was told it was closed they don’t have a bartender. I was told i have to wait till my party was there and when im seated. So i go over and ask can i be seated they said no i have to wait till party got there. So I finally get a table without my guests because they had canceled on me last minute. Get to the table got a cocktail but waitress didn’t come back for 30 minutes. After all that it was looking up. The food was good. I would not say don’t go but don’t expect too much.

I went there for my birthday yesterday and the foods & drinks were amazing . My favorite small plates were chicken karaage & my favorite drinks were Coco Mo & strawberry mojito. They song happy birthday to me and brought me one of their desserts and I think it was brown sugar mochi, loved it !!! I appreciate our server she was really great!!! And everyone else working at the restaurant they’re really sweet 😊!!!

Jennifer our sever was amazing and very attentive the entire night! What made the night even more memorable was the entire staff coming together so sing the Birthday boy Happy Birthday. From start the end, the dinner was amazing. The staff was very friendly from the hostess to the servers.

This was our first time at any Gyu-Kaku. The food was good and the cook-it-yourself style of eating was fun. We ordered the Hokkaido Yakiniku set course menu for 2. It was good and we particularly liked the Prime Kalbi Short Rib, Umakara Ribeye, and Glazed Pork Bibimpap. We will be coming back.

The experience was amazing, best Japanese BBQ place I’ve ever been to. I liked the whole idea of cooking the meat on your own, a little expensive but worth it. Considering on coming back for my birthday.

We opted for the Hokkaido experience, which was a great deal at $50/person. Our waiter, Kat, was amazing - great consistent service, very personable. The food was exactly what we expected from previous visits, flavorful and cooked to our liking since we cooked it ourselves. I wish the spicy lamb was always on the menu! The restaurant was a little loud, lots of families with small children, so it wasn’t quite the romantic evening we had hoped - but we were seated in a curtained booth near the back of the restaurant that gave a semblance of privacy. Very fun, will continue to return for special occasions!

Servers was quick and efficient. Explained the menu and provided recommendations as needed. Food was great. We had a great time cooking the food ourselves! The food was adequate and we were so full. Recommend ordering the combos if you’re new. Gives you a flavor of what they offer.

Had a reservation at 7:15 which I made at least 4-5 days in advance. Arrived on time and host told us it would be 5 minutes until we were seated, which we were fine with. However we were not seated until 35 minutes after our reservation with no communication about status. After that service was very slow. I am sympathetic to the fact that the restaurant may have been short staffed but in that situation they should tell us or not take our reservation.
