I have dined here twice now and it's moving up on my list of regular spots. Food is excellent. We were seated downstairs which was a little noisy but at 7 on a Friday that is to be expected. There were 5 of us and we shared several small plates. All were very good. The standouts were the chicken tacos. Incredibly flavorful ( I might say best I've had). Also the ribs and Lamb chops were great. We also shared the cauliflower which was delightful and meat and vegetables empanadas. Also very good. All 5 of us were very happy with the food..service was very good as well.

Tapas were excellent. Churros for dessert also. Sangria delicious. Service, lovely. Restaurant pretty and comfortable. Only issue: NOISE LEVEL!

Seated at 8:45PM at our reservation time and were able to put in our orders 15-20 minutes later. First food dish appeared on the table at 9:30PM, a long time after. We ordered 4 total tapas and didn’t receive our following 3 dishes until about the time the kitchen was doing their last call for all food orders, including the dessert. We have had positive experiences at the Waltham location and this location a few years ago, but this wasn’t exactly worth our time after this visit. The seating was at 70% capacity at the time and both the tables and kitchens were probably severely understaffed. We finished the bottle of water on our table during our meal and did not get a replacement until our check was brought out. Food was great otherwise, but the lack of service unfortunately left a negative impression on us.

We love this restaurant! The large plates are all good especially the pork. The tapas change seasonally but each one is unique and tasty.

We always love going to Gustazo. The food and drinks are great and the service is excellent. The place is very popular so it can get noisy. The food is delicious, and the menu has many options, but not a lot of options. A highly recommended experience.

Tasty and consistent. My favorite is the mejillones with chorizo followed by the croquetas. This time they had octopus croquetas which were a hit. The maduros with bacon were delicious as well.

Really great tapas and drinks. A little tight on the seating. Very polite and friendly servers working in teams. Special shout out to the kitchen for putting a rush on our entree when we told them we had to make it to a show on time. Delicious pork dish served in less than 10min. ThankvYou!

The food and drinks at Gustazo, both in Cambridge and Waltham, is consistently delicious and innovative. The Cambridge location is VERY loud, though -- we were there on a Saturday night -- and slightly understaffed. Drinks (which are excellent and highly recommended) were slow to arrive and it was difficult for our servers to manage because of the close tables.

The restaurant did not have my reservation that was confirmed on Open Table. We were seated in a very noisy area and when we asked to move to another area we were told that those tables were reserved! We ended up sitting on the lovely patio and the dinner was delicious, but I was not happy about how we were initially treated.

Our drinks arrived AFTER our first two plates were served and we asked another server about them. When my drink did arrive, the glass was only half full (?). It turns out, it was half full of gin and there was no tonic. A little strong for my tastes…. The waitress apologized and brought me a “new” one. She took away the “old” one. The new one turned out to be all tonic…I assume it was meant to be poured into the original half glass of gin (which the waitress took away!). At this point, I gave up. We finished our other 3 dishes and left. Food was good. But definitely you need to strategize and space your orders over time, so drinks arrive first and food is not too fast. We were done in less then an hour.

Great food and impressive menu selection for vegetarians. Service was problematic. We had to wait for our orders and server forgot I ordered wine. My friend tried to order a dessert item that isn't currently on the menu. The server substituted an alcoholic beverage without trying to determine what my friend was trying to order. Everything else about the experience was very good.

We arrived *early* for our reservation at the bar. We were seated instead in the far reaches of the basement. No one engaged with us for 15 minutes or so until a black fly began buzzing our table. So we left. Will not return. Terrible experience.

I used to visit this place twice a month. Unfortunately, On May 2023, the chef/owner wasn’t there, food was not at outstanding as it normally was… I was disappointed and I stopped going there. Today, I wanted to give them a chance and it was really worthy! It was noticeable that chef/owner was back! Food was another level!!! You guys have your flavors back! Well done!

We sat outside, which was terrific on a beautiful night. The food was very good, but too salty for my taste, so I won’t be going back; but my colleague had no problem with it at all. It was extremely busy, so the service was a little shaky, but the staff are superb people and they got a very good tip.

What a great find. My husband and went for our wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time. The Old Cuban cocktail is unique and delicious. We had a few small plates and each one was exceptional. We plan to go back very soon.

Loved our food and the back patio was a nice experience. We started with the ensalada de habas, which we really enjoyed, along with the ceviche special, which included a plentiful bunch of plantain chips Both were delicious! The arroz con pollo was out of this world. Will definitely be back to enjoy this food again!

Love this place. Seems to be better than it was- the food was delicious. Our server was lovely -not overly attentive. A little more checking in would have been okay. She was excellent when she was taking care of us. The food was DELICIOUS. It was loud which I don’t like- I think the building needs to be insulated. But I understand this cannot be done. I think it’s great and lively. It’s just not my scene anymore. I will go back, for sure. I want to say -the jibarito was amazing as were the tacos and the maduros con tocino was - OMG- are you joking?!! The mock tails were yummy. (I had 2, which I don’t normally have- guava mint and lime. We were so full, no dessert. We had the beets - I think I was so full. I could not appreciate them. As I said, I will be back.

Service was bad. Food was delicious. It wasn’t that busy but our server couldn’t seem to take simple orders. He would take our order, forget, and come back to take our order again. We had to keep reminding him that we ordered already. They also removed my favorite coconut cocktail off their drinks list! No biggie though. Still highly recommend for the food

What a wonderful evening! From the greeting (warm & welcoming!) to the service, the amazing cocktails and, of course, the dee-licious food! This is a wow of a restaurant. And big bonus here: although it's not marked, you can park directly in back of the restaurant after business hours. HUGE help. I recommend Gustazo with an A+!

The noise level was ghastly; my partner and I couldn't converse! Also, when I was using the downstairs 'ladies ' room (a one-fixture little bathroom) people who didn't understand that it wasn't a conventional multi-booth ladies' room were banging on the locked door and shouting (!) trying to enter.

The food here is outstanding. The service not so much. Our server said that the kitchen was backed up, but our drinks took forever, too. I suppose I would give it another try based on the food being so good, and hope they fix their service.

The tapas are excellent and allows sharing a variety a dishes and flavors. The cauliflower is delicious! All the large plates are good but the arroz con pollo and the puerco asado are a favorite.
