Real Pit Barbecue

Our BBQ is seasoned overnight and then smoked low and slow for up to 14 hours. We use whole pecan logs in order to create our signature smoke flavor. We're committed to serving the freshest, best possible product and smoke only enough BBQ for the day. we apologize if there are times that we may run out. All BBQ specialties come with a choice of two sides: french fries, sweet potato fries, cole slaw, dirty rice, braised southern greens, bbq baked beans, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, creamed corn, mac n' cheese, red skin potato salad, jalapeño cheddar grits, louisiana red beans & rice, sautéed green beans. I live in Porter ranch area and have been here many times. It was noted it was a birthday celebration now I know those notes don’t help in any way as we didn’t get to blow a candle with my kids. The food was all cold, it was the worst experience not only for food, but the worst part is the waiter was so inattentive made the entire experience an awful one.

Loved Gus’s BBQ! I haven’t found good BBQ in the LA area since I’ve been here for the past 5 years, but this met my expectations. Our server Ryan was also some of the best service I’ve had in a long time, he was very nice and came with great recommendations! The cornbread is a must order. SO delicious!

We had the happy hour pork nachos, yummy & delicious. We shared a tri tip sandwich with fries. Amazingly yummy. Our puppy had a plain chicken breast. She loved it as well.

Ribs are the reason you go to Gus’s. Can you believe they were out of ribs at 9pm. Unacceptable Gus’s. Lousy management.

The food was very very good. Service was a little slow but granted it was Mother’s Day. Would definitely go back and definitely would recommend to people I know
