Group Therapy is Hotel ZaZa’s sky lounge and restaurant located on level seven overlooking the hotel pool and Republic Square Park. The journey to every venue at ZaZa is a joyful adventure with unique architectural features, artwork and one of a kind treasures at every turn. Guests can access Group Therapy by the elevators in the hotel lobby.

Cozy booths surround the bar and comfortable sofas and lounge seating give the room a stylish supper club ambiance that extends to the covered terrace and pool. Group Therapy also includes a library room with lighted book shelves and an ornate marble fireplace giving the room a theatrical flare that is similar to a Saturday Night Live set. This space known as “Stage Fright” overlooks the entire lounge and is the perfect venue for live entertainment or seated dinners.

very good experience overall… service was great, food was great and ambience was awesome. However, the prices seemed high. I would go again in the future, but only for special occasions.

We arrived and were not greeted for 15 Minutes. Our reservation was at 4:30 and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant/ pool area. Our drinks took over 30 minutes each time, going through our entire meal without drinks. Our server, Priscilla, told us the bar was “backed up” but there was no one there. I am very disappointed for the amount of money we spent.

Classic hotel breakfast with solid food but nothing special. Our server was great, he didn’t rush us and made sure our coffee cups stayed full. Omelet was good, but French toast was a little underwhelming. I expected nice big slices of brioche like I had seen in the photos but it looked more like sandwich bread. Overall a decent experience but wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

Service was terrible. Soup and salad were really good. My son’s fish was not good and he barely ate it. Very loud and just not an enjoyable experience

If you’re looking for a cool place for drinks and food poolside this is the great place! Great views of the sunset and Austin skyline, food was okay. The decor was fantastic! Great photo opportunity for sure!

We had such high hopes! Unfortunately it was insanely loud we could hardly hear our waitress and she couldn't hear us. We had a reservation for 4 at 7:30 we were seated promptly. The drinks took a very long time, I feel like our waitress had too many tables and not enough help. We only saw her maybe 3 times. It was so disappointing and so frustrating. We sat for about 20 mins waiting on the bill.

Went earlier before a concert. Food was good - loved the sliders, fries, and the lamb chops. We all loved our drinks. The dark chocolate espresso martini was awesome!

Decided to go to Easter brunch at Group Therapy because it is one of our local favorites. Service was quicker than usual even though the restaurant was busy. Both my partner and I ordered the custom omelette, both came as ordered. The base omelette is three eggs so it is a large portion generously filled. It is served with breakfast potatoes and toast. Our companions split the lamb lollipops as their entree adding to it and order of fries. Both said the lamb was very tasty and the perfect temperature. The coffee is good.

Great scene, was a fun group dinner spot. Service was excellent. Food and drinks, for the prices charged weren’t up to par. Great spot downtown though with a nice outdoor patio.

Food was pretty good. I’m gluten free, so this restaurant didn’t offer as much as most restaurants do in Austin, but I got by. Probably not a place I’ll be a frequent flyer at though. For the cost/offering, I can get better elsewhere.

Our server brought out our bill and was about to hand it to us and THEN asked if we wanted dessert. She was also very absent and didn’t check in on us often. This caused what looked to be a manager refill our waters.

We were seated at the sofas by the pool, highly recommended. The service was excellent, the food was great, especially the party platter. The drinks were delightful!! We will definitely return again.

We had the Chilean sea bass, which was supposed to have a lemon caper butter sauce but every bite I took was completely bland, maybe they forgot seasoning? Also the short rib was almost flavorless as well. The small plates were delightful, the Brie was delicious as well as lamb lollipops. Service was great, drinks were good. Unfortunately I was too disappointed with the entrees, to return.

Group Therapy was an enjoyable Sunday Brunch experience. The food was yummy and if you enjoy interior design, there is much to observe and take delight in. Our server got busy toward the end and wasn't able to check back with us, but all of the servers were attentive and willing to assist. We will definitely return and may try dinner as well.

Overpriced and poor service. $20 Bloody Mary, that took over 30 min to receive. +2 hours for our food to come out. Would not recommend- much better options in Austin.

The restaurant is simply gorgeous, and the food is top notch. However, having eaten at the ZaZa in Dallas many times, I was unpleasantly surprised at the club (not restaurant) vibe here in Austin. The noise level required one of us to move next to the other, and people lined up around the bar getting drinks were hollering at each other to be heard. If I’m paying $60 for dinner, it should be an enjoyable experience, not this. Am a guest in the hotel and luckily rooms are quiet. Btw, I do like clubbing when that’s what’s I want to do.

Overall great experience at group therapy. It was really quiet for brunch on a Saturday which I enjoyed the steak omelette was amazing and if you are not someone who likes a lot of cheese, make sure to ask them to go light. Only downside was how slow the service was given how empty it was.

We went for lunch and booked through Open Table. Upon arrival, there was no host or anyone to greet us which we found very strange seeing we made a reservation. There was a bartender and one server for the entire restaurant which would normally not seem adequate, but they were very slow. Our food was decent but nothing to write home about. The service was really the let down. No water refills, stopped to check on us maybe once and we had to go search for our check. Will not be returning or recommending.

Had an exceptional time at Group Therapy’s rooftop bar! The views were incredible , creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. The ambiance was chic yet relaxed, and the attentive staff added to the overall positive vibe. The food offered a variety of dishes. Each bite was a burst of flavor. The drinks were expertly crafted, and the rooftop setting made sipping them even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
