Grotta di Fuoco, which translates to Fire Cave, is an industrial, rustic space with subtle lighting, raw steel, reclaimed wood, and concrete finishes. Step inside, descend below street level, and enter our vision of a cave. As for the fire, our focal point is a wood burning oven right next to the bar. You can sit close enough to feel the warmth, hear the crackle, and smell the scent of food being cooked, all while being entranced by the open flame. While Long Beach is rocking during the summer with the beach, Boardwalk, events, and outdoor dining, winter is when Grotta heats up. Open year round, the off season is the perfect time for out of towners to come to the West End for an unforgettable meal. We hope to see you all soon!

Great food. Great cocktails. Great service. The lemon chittara is always a favorite. This was the flounder Milanese special which was delicious.

Such an amazing escape from the West End pub scene, this is a great date night spot. The specials always combine great flavors but the ricotta gnocci is my go to favorite. Remember to ask for bread as it is available but not brought to the table without an ask.

I have eaten here many times. It’s my favorite restaurant in Long Beach. Never disappoints! And last nights specials the artichoke spicy pizza and swordfish dish were off the charts amazing 🤩

We went to the restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We were seated on time and the waitress immediately came over to ask us if we would like any drinks. Our water glasses were filled. The menu was loaded with great choices. I think the most difficult part was deciding what to eat. From appetizer to dessert we were very pleased. Highly recommend this restaurant for casual dining, celebrations, a girl’s night out or date night! We will definitely be going back

Charred octopus was delicious. Fig pizza was tasty with sweet and salty combination. Ricotta gnocchi was perfect and delicious NY strip was good. Just a little too much sea salt for my taste.

Always a great dining experience. My favorite spot in Long Beach. The food never ever disappoints, nor do the cocktails. I recommend the Diavolo pizza, meatball app and Pasta alla norma for dinner with the super tuscan wine or Calabrian spicy margaritta(not on menu anymore but just ask for it) Espresso Martini and/or affogato for after dinner is a must. I personally prefer the bar but if you are 4 or more a corner table is best. It is the go to spot for our bi-monthly girls dinner where we do shared plates *Just added Linguini/clams sauce & polenta fries to my fave list this past visit 4/1/24

Great food at a small local place with ambiance… if you can get a reservation. They change their menu seasonally… Their wood fired pizza -smoked mozzarella, figs, prosciutto, arugula, pecorino, balsamic is amazing! So is the octopus//lemon & squid ink bean puree..pistachio gremolata..pickled chiles & red onions..celery! They should have cushions available for their metal chairs for those with back issues.
