Our food was excellent. Our server was good. We were seated at 11:00 AM however we got our food at 12:30PM . Never eaten at a place that was this SLOW.

Wonderful food, drinks and customer service was immaculate. We will be returning real soon. If you haven’t been please go it’s worth the trip and the money.

The food was everything! Grits 🤗 Fish🔥Cinnamon Roll pancakes😳 Chix n waffles😮‍💨.. Hell, the pancakes look so fluffy and enriched when they come out! I knew they werent dry as soon as I seen them! Lol. My family definitely enjoyed… Food was so good, I really didnt even want to talk. Forgot my waiters name actually. Lol

The food was delicious and I would Iove to return to try other dishes. The service is where things were lacking. I was seated quickly, however it took the server 10-15 minutes for the server to greet me and bring me water. Food came out quick enough, however again I sat there with an empty plate for over 10 minutes. Somebody else grabbed the plate but it was another 10-15 before my server reappeared to ask if I was ready for my ticket. It wasn’t super crowded so I don’t know why he kept a going MIA. But I thoroughly enjoyed the food and I will return and hope for better service.

Got seated immediately based based off reservation. Which was good. Waited for over an hour for our food and there was hardly and people or tables filled. No followup on our food times or if we needed anything while we waited over an hour for food. No refills and my drinks or anything until I waved down who may have been the manager and they went to look for my waiter before going to get my water themselves. Employees (6) at the time all gathered around the bar laughing and talking. One of them was walking back and forth behind the bar making drinks and then coming back and sitting and talking with her friend that was there. Once the hostess (maybe the mgr) came over and maybe said something is when they dispersed. My previous visits were good. But this experience was horrible and will be the last time coming. Not attentive to the customers at all, for a barely full restaurant.

I took my daughter there to celebrate her 16th birthday. We had the red velvet waffle with fried chicken and it was delicious! I think the wings could have been larger considering what another local restaurant offers,but honestly the size was ok. My biggest gripe concerns the tables .we had to move to another table because our initial table was too wobbly to hold a glass of water. The main issue was the uneven floor and nit the tables. I' think a quick online search could help then find a suitable resolution. Finally, I would also recommend cleaning the wood with Murphys Oil because while the physical ambiance was spectacular,, the wood had an old smell that made me think the wood was just being wiped with a wet towel instead of being treated with a wood-specific cleaner. Regardless, my daughter enjoyed and I therefore enjoyed and will be going back soon.

Great service, lively ambiance and yummy food! We had the cinnamon pancakes, chicken and waffles, breakfast tacos, classic breakfast and peach waffles. Visiting from San Francisco, so we had to taste it all. Highly recommend!

First time trying Gritz and the food was good! I had the shrimp and grits and the red velvet waffle with a strawberry mimosa which was amazing. Would go again!

We waited 2 hours for food AFTER we were seated. A table of 5 that got seated about 30 minutes after us was served before my two person party.

We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation and were seated within 5 mins. The service was good. It took our food a while to come out but the restaurant was really busy so that could be why. The food delicious. We ordered fish and grits which came with a honey biscuit which was not very warm; chicken breakfast tacos that came with grits and breakfast potatoes, the potatoes were very good; the wings and pancakes were good; my son enjoyed his salmon breakfast sandwich with potatoes and we all enjoyed the peach Cobbler French toast, I wish it had some kind of creamy drizzle or whipped cream on it. I would definitely come back to try some other food on the menu.
