Everything was lovely, the ambiance, the music, the drinks. However, an hour in our reservation we’ve been told that we only have 30 min left, then we’ve been rushed to leave our table. We had to be persistent of asking if there was anywhere else we can move to.

The food and staff at Grapes and Soda are amazing. They use only the best freshest ingredients. The dining experience is cozy with a unique ambiance. Highly recommended!!

Great cocktails. Very tasty shareable menu. Cool atmosphere. Only complaint is that we were still hungry after sharing 2 small and 2 big plates…. We wanted more of that delicious food.

Grapes and soda absolutely ripped as it always does. Great food great drinks. Lauren was the best - provided thoughtful recommendations for food and played a big part in our lovely date night. She even played it cool and professional when my card declined while paying the bill. Really classy move. To be clear I have money I just forgot to pay off my credit card. It happens. I tell friends, family and strangers alike to check out grapes n soda as it is truly one of the best rooms in Vancouver. All in all, a truly sublime dining experience for me and my wife. We didn’t argue even once over the course of the meal. Absolute masterclass. We will be back!

Had some of the specials, the pork leg was my favorite, but everything we had was delicious. Other standouts were the sunchokes, cheese plate, and pappardelle. The service was great and staff were very friendly.

I love this place for date night for girls night for friends night and the blue bottled soda is fabulous. We came on Wednesday and enjoyed it so much came back on Friday night and the only glitch this time was from staff member was rather brisk, if not rude, about the fact that our 6 o’clock reservation that we should be leaving at 7:30 who knew ?? I suppose they could’ve told us before we sat down and in fact the party wasn’t coming until 8 o’clock so tinge perfectly lovely evening with some bad energy? Please take this as a coaching opportunity, and I did share it with our most wonderful Asian waitress (she with the long hair and glasses.) so it’s pretty easy to identify who the other candidate is coaching PS it’s not like we just drank water. We ordered wine, cocktails, and a couple of dishes Bravo to the chef on the duck leg.!!

I used to love this place, but it has changed. The service wasn’t great, they were constantly interrupting us and breathing down our neck counting down until our 2 hours was up. So sad, this place used to be great.

Grapes & Soda is a quaint, semi-hidden gem in that it's nicely tucked away, but still close to the heart of the city. It's a casual vibe, but it's one of those rare places where you could feel just as at home in a suit and tie as you would in a t-shirt and jeans. They've struck an excellent balance between casual and upscale, making the environment extremely welcoming to all. The cocktails and wine list are quite good and, even better, the mocktails are excellent. So if you're driving, if you're a teetotaler, or if you just feel like going ABV-less, you'll be in for a treat. The team behind the bar were more than happy to put together custom mocktails and the service team were attentive to tastes, preferences, and more, making the whole experience of ordering a mocktail (or a custom cocktail) both easy and extremely pleasurable. The drinks that came were excellent, and you could tell they really do love their craft. However, even with all these great factors, there are some issues we experienced: first, if you want some nosh with your beverage, it's not exactly great for vegetarians. There are some options, but nothing substantial. If you're vegetarian, plan to grab a bite beforehand or go elsewhere after. Second, the service is quite good, however, with the fact that there's a high volume of reservations they are quite strict on seating times, which can make it feel a bit rushed. Lastly (and hopefully this was just a one-off error) they didn't charge for one drink, but double-charged for everything else we'd ordered (and even charged for something we didn't order but they brought and told us was complimentary). When we pointed out the errors the team was very apologetic and immediately corrected the issues, and they definitely owned their mistakes, which was good to see. Overall, quite a good experience, but just a few things could certainly be tightened up to really elevate everything from a good to a great experience.

I've been here a few times and usually it's excellent. This time they were rushing us to order and finish our meal so they could flip the table. For what you pay you would not expect to be given "minutes left" periodically through your meal (we even had a reservation!) Also it seemed to be an off night for the food. Fish did not taste fresh.

The server was nice and knowledgeable and made suggestions when I asked her. The food and drinks are unique. The overall experience was great and it would make me come back to try other drinks or food items.

We love it here. It’s such a great little bar and the staff are so lovely and attentive. Amazing cocktails and the bar snacks and platters are delicious. Larger plates change frequently and although tasty, they aren’t always what we expected.

Went with some picky eaters and was a bit nervous when I saw the menu that they wouldn't be pleased, but we we're sooo blown away, food they wouldn't usually like they loved! Such a cool spot

Lovely little bar with an attentive and creative bartender and friendly staff! Their drinks are affordable and delicious. I came alone and felt very catered to by both the bartender and waitstaff. Highly recommended for cocktail enthusiasts and small parties.

Always amazing! We tried all 6 of the cocktails and they are always so inventive and you can find every flavour come through. Appies were also so inventive and yummy. Go to place for a cocktail/date night as service is always fantastic and love sitting at the bench table at the window to watch the world go by. Coolest place ever!

Never predictable, almost always delicious, Grapes&Soda is unique. The servers can explain the wines better than most experienced sommeliers, and the chef himself may well serve you and describe his dishes.

Always a great time here. Satoshi and the G&S crew run a tight ship that is welcoming, unpretentious and delicious. The quality of the drinks and attention to detail are hors pair at this price.

We appreciated the warm reception, responsive service, extremely creative cocktail and personal attention during our happy hour visit. love the decor and calming/comfortable energy of the venue and very glad we made reservations. Next time, we'd try a seat at the bar as well.
