They should have scheduled more staff for the Mothers day brunch- we waited 1/2 to be seated & then waited almost 20 min for someone to come to the table-the food was good-some of it wasn't very hot-

Ruined our Mother’s Day for sure. Incompetent Host / Hostess / Front Management. Had a 10:30 reservation and I don’t think we would have been seated until noon with those morons so we had to leave.

Don not go for the fish fry on Fridays. The batter was too thick and practically burnt on every single piece they brought out. DO have a spicy margarita! Wish the food had matched the drinks and service.

I made reservations based on a friend's recommendation who had glowing reviews of the weekend brunch. I had high expectations and planned ahead and made reservations. Food didn't seem fresh and bowls were empty and not refilled promptly (butter, whipped cream, shrimp, salad....we never did get whipped cream and there were scraps of salad that I never did see filled). The prime rib was dry and tough. It was very busy when we went (Sunday 12 noon). Our waitress did not explain the process and was very busy. My husband ordered an omelet and thought he had to take it up to get service because that was not explained to us and it took at least 15 minutes to get. Nothing seemed overly hot or fresh. Honestly won't go back again...my friend had not tried this location but for the price I don't know if I'd bother trying again. Not sure if this was a one off or how this location typically is. We all agreed (5 adults, 1 child) we wouldn't go again.

Steak was little over seasoned for both me and my fiancé but we told the server and they let the chef know. He was very good and nice. We will be back.

We went there for valentines day we made reservations and didn't have to wait to long after our reservation time the food was delicious and actually came out really quick for how busy they were and the service was great overall we had a great experience

We were sat late for our reservation which is not a big deal, understandable on a busy night like Valentine's Day. However we waited 40 minutes for our app to come out which was immediately followed by our food. Our food had clearly been sitting in the window a while and was cold, the steak was overcooked and the pasta sauce was dried up. About 10 minutes later we received our starter salads which then did not get eaten. Said a quick sorry but nothing was taken off our bill which I would've at least taken the salads since those didn't get eaten.

Ordered the 2 for $65 Valentine special. We waited a good 10 minutes before our server came to our table. Apps, soup/salad and entree came out all at once a half hour later. All barely warm. Understand it was a busy Valentine’s Day but other tables seated after us had ate and were leaving before we got our dessert.

Valentine day dinner. Was quick waitress told us she couldn’t wait to go home. So that put a damper on start of meal. Food was good and fast. Good price for Cajun pasta.

This was not a good experience. I used to love Granite City . Qe made the reaervation and arrived 10 min early and let the staff know She said ... OK ... Three other sets of people came in with no reservations,two groups of two a group of 4 and they were seated immediately with no reservations there werw many open tabels all over the restaurant and we were still not seated until 10 min after our reservations. Currently, the atmosphere is cold and crowded and needs updates and cleaning . It used to be an upscale buffet where you fealt classy when you went .The food was less than desirable. The omelet was overdone bark brown and Unedible The eggs Benedict was Unedible hard cooked egg a tiny bit of hollandaise sauce and a piece of ham so thin it was like tissue paper . The primerib was overdone and dark brown chewy .I asked for a regular bloody Marry because the ultimate was $ 9.95 It turns out the regular Bloody Mary was also $9.95 °and the staff did not know this or bother to let me know even when I asked. The experience was a sad one ..we.will not be back .

Delicious brunch with quite a nice variety!! Our server was wonderful and super hospitable!! The omelette bar was fun to see and even better to taste!! Best brunch location in Fargo!!!!

The waitress was very good. We ordered the “New Years Eve” deal, $65+ bottle of Chanpagne. Ordered salad, appetizer, dinner with Salmon & Sirloin. It all came at one time. Should have got salad first, then app, then dinner. By the time we ate the salad, everything else was pretty cold. Sirloin was too well done, dry, & cold. In addition with 5 people, we probably got 20 or more plates at once. Was very difficult to cut the steak, etc. Should have been a very nice dinner, but did not end up that way.

This was an excellent Christmas Eve day brunch experience complete with Santa Claus for the kids. The food is always excellent, as is the service. This is the brunch by which all others are judged in the FM area.

We were very disappointed with the quality of our brunch. The omelets we ordered from the omelet and Benedict station was probably made with only 1 egg, not fluffy, it was flat, and overcooked with hardly any filling inside. The buffet of food was low quality. The cheesy potatoes were the only great item on the buffet. We will not be going back to this brunch if the quality and ambiance doesn’t improve. Our server was very good so we were taken care of nicely. There were 11 of us and everyone had the same comments.

My Mom had the ribeye. It was cooked correctly and looked very good. Unfortunately, it had some tensions that were not edible. For $35, we expected a better cut of meat. The green bean side was very pretty, but for the method of cooking for green beans is not good. Green beans need to be steamed to improve the texture.

We had reserved a table of 10. We were early- the table was ready but the server was not. We had a mix of orders from sandwiches to pasta to salmon. Some were served hot and fresh. My salmon was cold (as were the asparagus and mashed potatoes with it). My son ordered a pot pie- which he had the last time we were here. It was less than satisfactory. I was glad that most at our table were satisfied but overall- I was very disappointed and next family meal- we will try a different venue.

I would highly recommend Granite City buffet, the food is excellent. We ate at Granite City buffet for our Thanksgiving meal. I especially loved the pot roast with potatoes and carrots, yum.. Oh and the squash and turkey. My husband loved the dressing and gravy. Everything was delicious.

Cost of Buffet was a fair value, but not an outstanding value at 35.00 per person. For us perhaps the 15.00 per plate would have been a better choice. The staff were attentive and friendly and I think that is outstanding considering how busy the Thanksgiving Buffet was when we were there.
