Located in downtown Sacramento, America's Farm to Fork Capital, Grange is a culinary expression of all things local, reflecting the authentic essence and soul of the community.

The menu showcases the market-driven bounties from the state and is best described as simple, seasonal and soulful. Organically raised meats and poultry are complemented with the freshest produce available from the Central Valley, while sustainable coastal seafood is paired with a spectacular all-California wine list. The entrees are presented in a straightforward American brasserie style. Lastly, enjoy the creations from our pastry chef such as rustic artisan breads and desserts.

Maybe it was because it was Saturday, but their lunch menu had only about one-third of the items of the online menu and the crabcake sandwiches we ordered were ok but nothing special. I understand that their dinners are quite good, but I would avoid lunch at the Grange.

Food was great as usual. The chef's specials are always worth trying. The highlight of the evening was our server/sherpa/guide/therapist, Francisco. He made our birthday celebration fun and special.

Excellent food that was plated creatively: asparagus soup, English pea agnolotti, and lam shank. Creative cocktails and extensive wine list from good value wines to top end. Efficient service and a nice though simple dining room.

Valet blocked the street and took over twenty minutes for car drop off alone. Restaurant service was excellent.

Our server Gibson was amazing. Very friendly & attentive. Food was on point. Can’t believe it’s taken us this long to have dinner here. We’ll definitely be back.

The first thing we were told after being seated is that the ice tea machine was broken. I can’t imagine that a chef couldn’t figure out how to make iced tea. There were three of us for a business meeting, and all ordered the special shrimp Louie. It was a skimpy salad for us three men. Worse, yet, the lettuce leaves had dirt on them and had clearly not been washed. Very disappointing.

Salty dishes We were unpleasantly surprised that the level of standard in the food was not maintained during our dinning experience. Most of the dishes were extremely salty.

We were staying at the Citizen hotel, and this restaurant was conveniently located inside. We had dinner Saturday night, and brunch Sunday morning. Dinner was great, and our server was wonderful. Sunday brunch was not great. Their set menu was just ok (so much salad!), and we wished they had better choices. The service was basic. They made a mistake on the bill that was annoying but no big deal. I wish they would have told us we could have ordered from the entire menu if we sat at the bar instead of the main restaurant. Go for dinner.

Small family celebration. Food & featured cocktails were great although 2 on their featured menu we’re not even available. Only four of the five meals were brought out together and we waited several minutes for the last plate (a duplicate to another order within our party ) to come out. Not some thing I expect at this high level of a restaurant. The biggest downsideto to our experience was how long it it took for service to come back to us for our dessert order that we decided to skip dessert and just get the bill and that took another 10 minutes to get the bill. Service was friendly, but we walked out, wondering if they were very understaffed. so if you have two hours and don’t mind waiting more than what you would expect for meals to arrive…

We enjoyed our meal and service. Convenient location to Crest theatre and other downtown venues before shows. Ordered from bar menu for a small bite in dining room. Parking nearby.

The Grange is an excellent choice for fine dinning in downtown Sacramento. The menu, as has become common for most restaurants, is limited, but the food is excellent. The wait staff is professional, helpful, and attentive.

Had a delicious dinner here, as always. Mary’s chicken & the trout were both excellent & the service is outstanding. While the noise level is fairly high, you can request a quiet(er) table & they will accommodate you. We always anticipate the next dining experience here!

Our waiter was disinterested and snarky. The appetizers were delicious. Main courses were heavy on the protein and lacking any fresh, light, delicate accessory or taste. It may have been an anomaly , not a great dinner for us.

Grange is an institution, but we had only been once before. It was excellent. We had both fish dishes, the cod and the Lake Lassen trout, both great but the cod was better/ exquisite. The cardamom Manhattan was the best unique cocktail I've had in years.

I had the most amazing experience. And my servers was amazing!!! I unfortunately do not remember her name but it was uncommon. I am going to reach out to the restaurant management to let them know how wonderful she was. Very attentive, made the best suggestions and was just a genuinely nice person.

Every time I go here, I always have a pleasant experience. The waitstaff is great and the food is always amazing. I’ve been here about 5+ times now and every visit was just as great as the last. I love it here

Review is for breakfast. Great central location down town for concerts or sports at the golden one center. Restaurant has a great throwback ambience, great service and good. Benedict was excellent, just the right amount of heat with the jalapeño. Lox bagel, which you build yourself was excellent.

Very good craft cocktails, excellent wine list and superb meals uniquely created and presented beautifully. The staff is very well trained, professional and knowledgeable of menu creations. The setting is in a nicely decorated historic building. We had a nice table, relatively quiet and romantic. It was near the windows and the ventilation system kept a constant breeze coming across the window side of the table. It was moderate temperature, but could be annoying to some. We will definitely return to this great venue, but will request seats not along the windows.

Went to the Grange for lunch and had a delicious meal. Service was perfect - timely, knowledgeable and friendly. Food was prepared as described with great flavors. Craft cocktails were also very good.

The Valentines dinner was spectacular! Very different and delicious. Tres elegant! The Grange can be both intimate for a couple or a great place for larger groups. We have dined there with a large group for a birthday and a family group six and both times the food has been excellent.

Would have liked more of a variety of items for breakfast. The eggs scrambled were very bland. The coffee latte was extremely strong and bitter, even after pouring in More cream The people and the ambience were perfect A place I will go to for a cocktail and appetizers
