Grand Street provides a consistently good experience including bar service, food and service. It is a go to restaurant because of the above and they always provide a pleasant not too noisy environment conducive to actually talking to our dining companions. One of the very best options in the Shawnee/Lenexa/north OP & Olathe areas.

We were there to celebrate Mother’s Day and there seem to be a big party going on at the same time. They were out of three of the main menu items already at 7:30. We then ordered wine, and was told “sorry that was not available any longer, but it hasn’t been taken off the menu yet. We had ordered an appetizer when we first arrived and after 30 minutes still had not received it. The waitress came back to us & said she forgot what we ordered and had not put it into the chef yet. Lastly, I had ordered dressing on the side for my salad and it came saturated and dressings. It took an hour for us to get our dinner, and although it was tasty, we were just ready to go home at this point.

So sorry to hear about your experience with Grand Street on Saturday. Unfortunately, we did run out of two items that evening which we apologize for. We do have one wine on our list that has been discontinued by our supplier and we will take off we have our wine list reprinted. We do carry a couple hundred bottles of wine regularly however. We certainly wish you would have asked for a member of management while you were dining with us as most issues may be corrected on the spot rather than reading about them later in a review. Thanks for you input and hope you will give us another try.

Everything at Grand Street is always very good. However, they need to change their menu. It has been the same for quite a time. Christina is great!!

We enjoy coming here. Occasionally the chicken is a little overcooked but other entrees have always been good, appetizers are awesome and the service is wonderful.

Alex did an amazing job - both of them. But Alex the guy was our waiter so give him the credit. Just want to thank you folks for making many casual special occasions in our lives more special and more comfortably elegant. You have found the perfect balance of inviting and warm with a touch of class in all the little things. We are so thankful to have Grand Street as part of our community.

one of our dinners came out cold, so I had to sit there and eat mine so it wouldnt get cold, while she waited for hers. very uncomfortable, and there was not offer of comping the cold dish or appetizer.

We had a great dinner last night. Song was a wonderful server and we all loved our food. The trout was delicious and we shared two desserts that were amazing - the apple and chocolate. Highly recommend.

Great meal and atmosphere. Bartenders were friendly and professional. Alex served us dinner, he was excellent and added to our evening. We are semi regular customers. We like that we can get something simple and lower cost for a casual evening, or something special for a more formal occasion. Beer and wine selection is great, desserts are excellent, overall a great place. Everyone we met was friendly and happy to be working there.

Our waiter was fantastic. Attentive but not pushy. My 2 patty smash burger was not hot when served, suppose to be 2-4ounce patties. I guarantee you there was not 8 ounces of beef on my plate. The other diner ordered fillet which was very salty. The rest of the dinner was just “ok”.

The best part of the meal experience was our server, Luis! He IS OUTSTANDING! Very attentive. Very personable. Very professional. Very intuitive. He made you feel like your table was the only table that mattered. And, at the end of the meal, he reintroduced himself, said it was his pleasure to be of service and to ask for him on the next visit. Indeed I will!

We always enjoy Grand Street, a neighborhood spot for us. The Valentines Day menu was excellent! We were seated at an intimate spot and our waiter said “Happy Valentines Day”! It was a delightful evening for us. And we never go out for Valentines Day!

Food was good. Short ribs was the best I have ever had. The risotto was alright but lacked much flavor. The burger was large and I was told was good. The chicken salad (like a chef salad with a chicken breast) was very good. They left off by accident a few listed items and when we asked our server, they quickly returned with the rest of the salad toppings. Overall, the food was good. Maybe it was what the others in our party ordered but again, if you like short ribs, they were the best I have had. Now, finding the FRONT DOOR was a joke. Several people parked where we saw a door. We parked in that area. NO, it was around the building with NO PARKING around the door. I am disabled and thought parking in a disabled slot would get me near the door. WELL..... NO, it was the worst spot to have disabled parking. AND, no signage because several couples around us were also looking for the main door. SUGGESTION, move the bar or make it the main door because that is by your sign and the door you see when you pull in. FINAL THOUGHTS, this was a learning curve. If we go back, I would get the short ribs again and be sure to have someone drop me off halfway around the building. Our server made the short comings acceptable. Good food, great service, just the logistics or design really needs some work. Worth the try!

Had the prime rib tacos; disappointing. Meat was over cooked, dry and grisly. Tuna Tartare was not tasty. Did not taste fresh. Very crowded and noisy. Previously we have had good dining experiences, but this night was not one of them.

There were four of us that had a reservation on Valentine’s Day. Because of the holiday our reservation was at 4:15 we first went to the bar where they had, and a glass every few seats which was beautiful. The bartenders were very attentive because it was so early we got happy hour prices, which was even better, we then moved to a table in the bar for a meal at reservation time. Alex was our server he was very friendly took care of as well. My husband had his favorite steak salad and I had the stack with green beans. It was delicious as always our friends had never been there, one had the chicken piccata which she is very familiar with and said it was delicious. The other followed my lead and got the stack with french fries and he gave it two thumbs up.

Wonderful experience, I met my dad for dinner and we ordered the salmon artichoke dip as an app. It was yummy and quite large. I ordered the salmon salad which was delicious! Their old fashion is also a great drink, it packed a punch for sure (might order sprite to water it down if you’re not a whiskey connoisseur but enjoy a strong drink!)

Have not been to the Lenexa location before. It is a nice quiet restaurant. Our server was great! (Chloe) Our food was good, the pork chop was cooked to perfection, and very flavorful, but could have done without the excessive amount of barbeque sauce on top. Which then seeped into the macaroni and cheese it was served on. Not a great combo for us. Pasta Mafalda as recommended by our waitress. It was very good.

Our server Ella was very efficient yet friendly. The food was good and the place is always on top of its game and has thus become a favorite of mine. The server is somewhat new to the job but it is evident that she has received solid training and represents the establishment very well. I will be back and asking for Ella to be our server.
