Food and services were great. The shrimp ju ju was delicious as appetizer. we got the crawfish pasta dish, the fish topped with crawfish and a fried shrimp po boy. All were good.

The server forgot the appetizer and drink order. We said we still wanted it even though our meals just came out. After asking again while eating the meal, we were told the second appetizer went to another table accidentally. It came after we finished eating our meals and there was not an adjustment to the bill.

The service was outstanding. Our waiter was very patient as we had several questions about the drink and food menu. He answered our questions fully. We was also great about responding to our inquiries on what we should order. The food was absolutely amazing.

Food was good. Try the crawfish beignets. You won’t be disappointed. Service was excellent. The only thing I didn’t like were the three big tvs on the wall.

Was immediately greeted with kindness when I walked through the door. I had oysters for the first time ever and I loved them. I recommend getting the chargrilled oysters and the creole crawfish pasta. There was just enough sauce on the pasta so your food isn’t drowning in sauce. I will return to this restaurant.

The food was excellent- very good gumbo, great boiled shrimp. Oysters were magnificent. Slow service, although it may just have been out server. Would have preferred a second cold glass for my second beer. But my companions thought it was a good choice!

We had a wonderful meal and great wait staff for an early dinner. The redfish onnthe half shell and the gulf fish with craw fish sauce were both excellent. Jolanda took awesome care of us. Several families were there at that time celebrating a college graduation.

Another great meal at Grand Isle! Drinks and appetizers this time. Char Grilled Oysters, Crab Dip, Boudin Sausage, Cheesecake for dessert and a bottle of wine. The wine list is not complicated, but they do have bottles for $30 +/-. Service was awesome and found great value going here!!

For a restaurant that specializes in seafood it was lacking flavor. That catfish had no flavor at all and was fried too hard. The pork chop looked excellent but had no flavor.

I was afraid that this was a typical touristic place with overpriced and not so good food, but it turned out to be quite good. I am not sure whether I will come again, but I enjoyed the dinner yesterday.

We were running late because of Mardi Gras traffic so I called & explained. The hostess took care of pushing our reservation back some and when we showed, we were seated almost immediately. The manager came to our table and explained that there was a big party that was just seated but saw we were in formal wear, attending a carnival ball at the Convention Center and she asked that our server take our orders quickly so we wouldn’t have any further delays. Our server was prompt, our food was delicious and we made it to the Endymion extravaganza without any problems. We will definitely come back when it’s not peak tourist season and get the full restaurant experience! Thank you Grand Isle restaurant & Happy Mardi Gras!

Callie was our server and was absolutely phenomenal! When we said we were from out of town, she gave us a written list of recommendations for other local places to see and eat at over the weekend. The food was amazing and reasonably priced, and she gave us great recommendations for what to eat at Grand Isle as well. Would definitely eat there again!

Meh. Website and menu made clear that 20% gratuity was included and that they don’t offer refunds because “they stand by their recipes.” Should have been a clue. Avoid if you can. Better food pretty much anywhere in the area.

Food was mediocre. Portions were fine but imbalanced. Fisherman’s stew was mostly vegetables with limited seafood. Service was slow to be seated even with reservations. Serving staff was limited and thus overwhelmed.

Always a first stop when visiting New Orleans. Love the grilled oysters. Can’t get enough.

Great food, ambience, and service. We had one of the best meal in New Orleans, which is already at high levels for the US
