La mission du Gracias Madre est de célébrer et de servir la présence de cette mère omniprésente, dans les cœurs comme dans la terre, et de tous ceux qui nourrissent cette terre. Le restaurant sert une cuisine inspirée des cuisines du Mexique, faite à partir d'ingrédients biologiques cultivés localement. Venez prendre place à la table de l'amour. L'idée du Gracias Madre provient des visites des familles mexicaines des employés du restaurant. La mission est double : proposer une nourriture mexicaine biologique aux communautés à proximité et honorer ces mères mexicaines qui travaillent sans relâche dans leurs cuisines, souvent seules avec leurs enfants, pendant que leurs maris travaillent en Californie. Inspiré par quelques-unes des recettes de ces familles et de l'amour maternel, le Gracias Madre sert la cuisine de la chef Chandra Gilbert, faite à partir de produits biologiques provenant de fermes locales, pleine de saveurs et d'amour. Une sélection de cocktails à base d'agave du chef des boissons Jason Eisner agémente le menu.

Good innovative food. For the price and considering it’s Vegan, the beans should be made in house. Canned beans are my main issue with the food, but I would go back again!!

Great discovery for our brief trip to LA. So pleased to find excellent vegan food - much enjoyed by my non-vegan husband too. Great range of options. Service was professional and friendly. Felt completely un-rushed. Loved we managed to sit in the courtyard, even though we'd booked for the dining room.

We had an exceptional dinner, due in fact to our wonderful server, Bailey!! She gave us great suggestions.. one of our party is celiac .. and she knew everything on the menu that he could have. The patio is beautiful! Non of the 4 of us are vegan.. but had lots of options to choose from… cocktails were great,too!

My daughter has been vegan for almost 6 years and I wanted to have her birthday celebration at a vegan restaurant and our experience was wonderful! The food was delicious and the restaurant is beautiful, I'm glad I picked this restaurant to celebrate her birthday.

The food and service was amazing. Allowed my dog on the patio and offered a water fountain for dogs instead of dog bowls. It was fantastic!

The service was impeccable! I can’t remember my servers name but he was apparently a singer. He asked if we had allergies. Food and drinks came out fast and it was all delicious!

My first time visiting LA in over a decade, I decided that I would visit some of the restaurants that have been featured on Insecure (Issa Rae). I am pescatarian and I love Mexican food, so of course Gracias Madre was an obvious choice for my first night in LA. My guest and I managed to arrive shortly before happy hour ended and snagged a few HH bites, drinks, plus some main entrees. Everything was literally so flavorful and delicious. We also sat in the patio area, which was an excellent choice given the weather and overall ambiance. Thank you for making my first evening in LA so memorable.
