My younger brother and myself decided to treat my Mom to dinner at Gordon Ramsay Steak this year for Mother's Day after discussing over and over again WHEN to try this location. We are all foodies and love to try classier restaurants that don't offer the 'same old thing' when possible. Needless to say, Gordon Ramsay Steak was 10/10! From our server (I'll probably get this wrong but I believe it was Johnathan?) to each dish we sampled, everything was delightful. Our server went above and beyond to guide us through the menu layout, recommend the perfect cocktails, and make it clear that if ANYTHING was not something we truly loved, he would replace it with something better. We did not order anything that needed to be swapped with another choice. We sampled the Bourbon Bacon, Lobster Risotto, and Lobster Bisque for starters, as well as the Caesar Salad. The Quail Scotch Egg in the salad was a wonderful touch and the pork belly melted in your mouth! The signature Beef Wellington entree was something of dreams, and the American Wagyu Strip sliced like butter. We could have lost ourselves in the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Pot de Creme. I can truly say that my mom's special experience went perfectly, and we will definitely be back for future occasions. If you are a fellow foodie seeking a closer-to-home gem, give Gordon Ramsay Steak a try when you can!

The food was beyond fair. I have pics if you’d like to see them. Steak was not of prime meat. I’ve had better at Outback. Nothing was outstanding, mediocre to say the least. The lobster looked like a crawfish. We ordered the mushrooms, crispy, brussels sprouts, lobster bisque, French onion, soup, and baked potato. We won’t be back.

My wife and I went for our 35th anniversary as a treat to us. She got the sea bass and it was off the chain good. I got the prime beef filet and I have to say that I’ve had better filet steaks at Saltgrass Steak House for a third of the cost. The steak was slightly overcooked, barely seasoned, and kind of tough. I really expected a really tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned steak but was very disappointed. The burban bacon was a little different but good. The lobster risotto was good. The baked potato was perfect. Just that 8 oz filet was a real let down. Would I go again? I’m not sure… not for the steak (I can cook better at home), but I’d go for the sea bass!

We are fans of Gordon and it was well worth it we enjoyed ourselves. We learned alot from our waiter .

Service was good, if something wasn’t right it was corrected. Some food was over cooked, side dishes and a steak that was ordered as medium rare but received as medium. The taste was very good but a little overdone. Nothing to stop us from going back.

Steaks were all over cooked. Wine bottle was wrong. Price for appetizer king crab vs value was not good. Taste was good. So disappointed! Truffle fries were over cooked.

The food was good but pricey. I wanted the beef ribs , but they were out of them so I had a steak. Service was excellent. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and answered all of our questions. Great experience overall and a nice way to spend a special occasion.

As a local resident, I don't visit the casino restaurants very often. I prefer to support the many good locally owned restaurants we have in the Lake Charles area. However, it is fun to occasionally visit the casinos, and we've been curious to try this place. We were impressed by the ambiance and the service. You can tell the staff has been well trained. The view over the lake is nice. The noise level was a little louder than we prefer, but not too bothersome. The food was very good. Definitely on par with the high-end restaurants at the other casinos. Maybe even better. It is certainly expensive, but so are the other places.

Had to be in the top 3 meals my wife have had eating out in our lives. Service was as good as it gets, every dish served was wonderful from appetizers to dessert. No doubt we will return!

Our experience was somewhat mediocre. I got the Beef Wellington. I can eat medium rare but my beef was literally raw in the middle and had a large piece of gristle running through it. I brought it home to air fry so that I can eat it. My husband got the short rib. He said it was good but was lacking in seasoning. He had to ask for some salt. I’m not one to write negative reviews but in this case I felt the need to do so because I was so disappointed after looking forward to this experience for so long since I’m a huge Gordon Ramsay fan. Since they asked if it was a birthday, which it was, I kind of expected some kind of acknowledgment, like a complimentary dessert but there was no mention of it so why do they even ask?

Excellent dining experience! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to answer all our questions. Our dinner occasion was to celebrate our daughter's birthday and from the moment we arrived, she was greeted with Happy Birthday wishes. The cocktails were wonderful. My mother was over the moon for the bourbon bacon appetizer, and her filet and the Brussels sprouts she said were delightfully good. For me the beef Wellington was every bit as good as I’d hoped. And that béchamel on the baked potato… my goodness I’ve never tasted anything so delicious. Wine recommendation was impeccable. My salad was good, and the scotch egg was also a very tasty highlight for me. Thank you for a very special evening celebrating my mother’s birthday!
