Inspired by long days on the Gulf, late nights on the ranch and the colorful creations of our abuela, our family's Kitchen & Cantina showcases the rich foods and traditions we grew up with on both sides of the border.

Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque.

Our days begin roasting chilies and tomatoes, rolling fresh tortillas in our bakery and wringing every last drop of Ruby Red grapefruit for cocktails. We hand-grind our own sausage and hand-trim every ounce of meat in our butchery, then anoint it with the savory seasonings and marinades we've honed over generations.

A few margaritas on our patio and you've found your new casa sweet casa.

Love Goode Co. Memorial location is perfect. Fun evening entertaining out of town friends and giving them a taste of authentic tex mex in Houston.

I can’t believe they are accepting reservations when they have an air conditioner issue and it’s been going on for over a week. They should let you know they are having an AC ISSUE AND THE RESTAURANT WILL BE WARMER THAN NORMALLY ACCEPTABLE. We won’t be back until the AC is fixed.

I eat here for the quality of the food - I love their Enchiladas Verde. Service is friendly, but the were overly aggressive wanting to take my plate and my guest’s plate before we were done eating (at lunch time on a Friday). Would still return for the food.

Our dinner was very good and the redfish was delicious , all the food was very fresh.Our margaritas were very tasty. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We were visiting with an old friend and he gave us plenty of time , we did not feel rushed. Although the room has a rather high sound level, we could hear our conversation. We will definitely come back again.

Waited 35 minutes before waiter came to table. Felt like an afterthought the whole time. Some of the food was pretty good, some just okay. Too many other options in htown to return for another try.

The restaurant decided to open late and would not honor our reservation. The staff were very rude to us about it.

This restaurant delivers solid Tex Mex with great quality, quantity and taste. Service is always good. Was there Mother's Day lunch and in spite of being completely full with people waiting, they honored our reservation time and we were served a bit slower than usual, but much faster than expected given the crowd and staff service and food quality and taste were as good as ever. I highly recommend this place.
