Best homemade pasta and great service considering they were short staffed. Very friendly staff. Telling friends how good it is!

We experienced this restaurant for the first time for Mother’s Day and it was wonderful, the food was great and cooked to our liking. As someone with an allergy it does happen no matter from the server to kitchen to table that my order can be put in incorrectly. This did occur, which is not a complaint but the after care once it was brought to their attention was what sold us even more on returning. The amount of care, and having upper staff members come to ensure our happiness is hard to beat. We will be back for sure!

The short ribs were over done and dry. The server who did the table side pasta had his shirt untucked and had no idea what he was doing, he did not even have a lighter for the flombay. They also did not have bread and said the guy was out at the store buying more. I won’t be back. Too many good places around to pay these prices for this.

Awful experience, will never go back. Save your money! First they didn't honor our reservation and told us we made it for the Illinois location, when clearly our confirmation email said Allen. Then when it was brought to their attention, they said "there must have been a glitch" and made us wait. What a mistake it was to wait. The service was absolutely HORRIBLE. Waitress was nowhere to be found, ALL of our food came out at the same time - appetizer, side salads/soups, and main course. There wasn't enough room on the table for all of the plates. The Ceasar salad was dry with no dressing, the house salad was just lettuce, and the spaghetti strongly resembled Chef Boyardee. The waitress had nothing but attitude when asked to refill our drinks that had been empty for 20 minutes. Needless to say, it took forever to pay and get out of there. Couldn't get out fast enough. A sad waste of time and money. If you value either or both of those, stay away.

Food was god awful and they kept telling us a chef quit that day. Doesn’t excuse the poor quality. My 4 year old could have done better

New chef prepared eggplant with hot and spicy sauce, and not the pomodoro sauce! Had to consume lots of bread and cold water to take the sting out of our tongues and lips. Replaced meals with freshly made meals and the correct sauce but, in their effort to get it out to us, undercooked the eggplant and spaghetti. Then was informed that I would need to choose a different extra meal because they didn’t have any lasagna! This was at 12 noon with only 2-3 other tables occupied. We did enjoy the wine, and must add that our server and the manager were very gracious.

Asked for a quiet table and was led to a table in three middle so asked to move. Terrible wined selection! No european wines either. Service was inconsistent and long wait time even for our drinks which came 10 minutes apart! Chicken Florentine was tasteless and cutlets were like boot leather. Huge stringy asparagus, undercooked carrots mushy other veggies in the mixed vegetables. Asked for medium well salmon and it was well done and dry. Very unfortunate. We won’t return.

First visit to Goat and Vine on Allen. The space was nicely decorated. The food was good, and cocktails were really good. This place a lot of potential to become great.
