Overall, our experience at Glo last night was great, and the staff service was extremely well. Only issues that we had was the appetizer wasn’t really hot when served and a cup of coffee was not hot (cold). Staff fix the issue immediately about the coffee and we didn’t really complain about the appetizer temperature level. From that it was a great experience and it was quiet.

Once again the staff delivered a great experience. I had asked for and was fortunate to share a window table with family members from away. The hosts were professional and accommodating. The server was smart, sassy and service-oriented. The food was consistently great as always. Thanks for being my go-to for the highest and lowest days of life.

I come to Glo on a fairly regular basis. I love the setting. I love the ambience. I love the staff love the food always consistent always good value for money however, when I arrive every single time despite multiple bookings, I am told that there is a reservation in 2 hours and that we have the table for two hours…..That statement every time as a welcome to a restaurant is not a good first impression. I am starting to make other choices …. Also tonight when we arrived 3 hostesses on the front counter all very confused again not great first impression

Food good. Service was fair. We were not asked whether we wanted beverages after initial water brought to table. Took food order and left before we could ask. At end of meal, only one member got coffee, the other two were not asked? Again, left the table quickly.

As usual Glo is a wonderful place to be. The decor and interior design are outstanding. The food was great, especially the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. The flat pizza was yummy with the poached pear. The only disappointment was the bacon wrapped shrimp. They were overcooked and bacon almost burnt. It was very busy and everything took longer than usual which was to be expected. All in all, it was a very pleasant meal and our server is to be applauded too!

When we arrived i ordered 2 glasses of water with lime and 2 espresso martinis and got 2 waters without lime and soda water with lime and no martini. It took 20min to get martini cuz he said i never ordered one and that was wrong cuz he repeated my drink order. We both ordered the steak, which I had before. Did not receive a steak knife and it was chewy and no sauce. Not great. In the past it was served with sauce and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Mom switched it for the salmon linguine which she thought was just ok. Not a great Mother's day lunch

It was our second dinner visit, this time at the wonderful patio. Everything that we selected from the menu, from appetizers to deserts were just great. The service is also very good and so is the ambience. We really enjoyed the patio seating and our dinner. We will return for sure.

We were really looking forward to coming back to our favourite restaurant and ordering our usual faves. However, we were so disappointed to learn that the best crispy beef in the city was no longer on the menu! Doubly disappointing because we used the rice it came with to add to the delicious lettuce wraps. So we couldn’t have one and didn’t want the other without rice. Our waitress told us that she has heard many people express disappointment at the beef no longer being available. Please bring it back!!!

The Black & Blue salad was tasty, but the steak couldn't have been much smaller and my medium rare order came medium well. Also, I'm not a fan of having the tips starting at 18%, especially when the service was not special.

Good food and good ambiance. Can be a little hard to hear conversations, but I guess it would depend on who else would be in the dining room. Nonetheless, I would go back again.

My only complaint is that it was very noisy. I could not hear someone sitting next to me. That said, I appreciate that many people like the buzz that loud music and customer noise generate.

Lovely brunch and service as well as a beautiful view. Two of us had the Benny minus meat. Really good, except we would have both liked a little more Hollandaise, and I found the hash browns a little dry, but these are minor details. Our dining companions really enjoyed the seafood crepes. We'll be back.

Service was super slow for our table, starting with drinks, appetizer and ultimately food. It was about 1.5 hours to get our food and one plate had 4 out of 5 items that were cold. Second order was fine.

We were a little disappointed with our table. The reason I suggested the restaurant to my husband was because of the view; but our’s was rather spoiled by a large coloured obstruction. And we were facing the back of the hostess stand. However, our server, Venus was sensational! Kudos to her. Venus was attentive and assisted my husband, who is now unable to eat garlic, by providing information on what might be suitable.

Love the ambiance at Glo. It is a go to place whenever we visit. Unlike some other restaurants, Glo offers an extensive Happy Hour selection. It is an excellent option when you need a delicious snack and special drink. Seating inside and out is comfortable. On a nice day the patio is a great place to unwind.

Fish & Chips not as good as previous times, batter was mushy fish was dry ,salad was bland.. beet salad…dissapointed..

Just outstanding service from start to finish! We were given a beautiful window seat. I was helping a friend celebrate her birthday, and a totally yummy dessert with a candle was presented to her at the end of the meal. The meal itself was outstanding and so memorable. Thank you!

I have been to GLO several times over the years. Always found staff to be friendly and courteous. The food is very good, with selections for everybody.

Best to have a reservation at this restaurant as it is very popular. Our food was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. This is one of our favourite restaurants in Victoria.

We had a nice evening here. The service was very attentive. I was disappointed in the wine by the glass menu, which was low quality wines. My husband and I shared a beet and avocado salad that had 6 tiny beet cubes. My husband asked where were the beets. And the salad had maybe an 1/8 of an avocado. The rest was lettuce. Really? The Bhudda bowl was tasty and overall we enjoyed our evening. However our meal for 4 people was over $200, so I feel improvements can be made in the wine and salad categories.

We waited 15 min for our table. From our reservation time. The staff could not get it together. They could not figure out gluten free dish’s. The waitress came and went 5times over this. One person of our party got their food early. We sent it back 15min later we were served. Steak with no steak knife. The music was loud and it wasn’t comfortable to visit. It looks like it’s all about the alcohol

We requested a table with a view of the water as we were in town visiting. When we got to the restaurant the Hostess informed us she accidentally gave our reserved table away. We then were seated in the middle of the restaurant with a view of the bar. The Waitress seemed disinterested in her job. She forgot my Daughter and Husband’s drinks. The food was mediocre. If you are looking for a special dinner while vacationing in Victoria, look elsewhere.

We booked our Reservation the day before, for our daughter's birthday. I had to increase our list by 1 which was not a problem. We were seated by a window which was nice as we got there before dark. Our waitress was lovely and didn't miss a beat. Our overall experience was very nice and my daughter had a nice time.

My friend was visiting from Seattle this week and we enjoyed Glo Restaurant so much that we actually came in twice for lunch. The service was excellent as was the food and wine. The decor is phenomenal with the most exotic, tropical flower arrangements surrounding the bar and tables. And I can't forget to mention the beautiful view of the Gorge and the walkway. Glo is my favorite restaurant in the area. I will return again and again

Food was excellent. Our server was amazing - so knowledgeable, absolutely loved her!! The only complaint that we had was that someone at the front desk was using an abundance of perfume that filled the foyer and parts of the restaurant with her scent. It was overpowering for all 3 of us.
