The Black & Blue salad was tasty, but the steak couldn't have been much smaller and my medium rare order came medium well. Also, I'm not a fan of having the tips starting at 18%, especially when the service was not special.

Good food and good ambiance. Can be a little hard to hear conversations, but I guess it would depend on who else would be in the dining room. Nonetheless, I would go back again.

My only complaint is that it was very noisy. I could not hear someone sitting next to me. That said, I appreciate that many people like the buzz that loud music and customer noise generate.

Lovely brunch and service as well as a beautiful view. Two of us had the Benny minus meat. Really good, except we would have both liked a little more Hollandaise, and I found the hash browns a little dry, but these are minor details. Our dining companions really enjoyed the seafood crepes. We'll be back.

Service was super slow for our table, starting with drinks, appetizer and ultimately food. It was about 1.5 hours to get our food and one plate had 4 out of 5 items that were cold. Second order was fine.

We were a little disappointed with our table. The reason I suggested the restaurant to my husband was because of the view; but our’s was rather spoiled by a large coloured obstruction. And we were facing the back of the hostess stand. However, our server, Venus was sensational! Kudos to her. Venus was attentive and assisted my husband, who is now unable to eat garlic, by providing information on what might be suitable.

Love the ambiance at Glo. It is a go to place whenever we visit. Unlike some other restaurants, Glo offers an extensive Happy Hour selection. It is an excellent option when you need a delicious snack and special drink. Seating inside and out is comfortable. On a nice day the patio is a great place to unwind.

Just outstanding service from start to finish! We were given a beautiful window seat. I was helping a friend celebrate her birthday, and a totally yummy dessert with a candle was presented to her at the end of the meal. The meal itself was outstanding and so memorable. Thank you!

Best to have a reservation at this restaurant as it is very popular. Our food was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. This is one of our favourite restaurants in Victoria.

We had a nice evening here. The service was very attentive. I was disappointed in the wine by the glass menu, which was low quality wines. My husband and I shared a beet and avocado salad that had 6 tiny beet cubes. My husband asked where were the beets. And the salad had maybe an 1/8 of an avocado. The rest was lettuce. Really? The Bhudda bowl was tasty and overall we enjoyed our evening. However our meal for 4 people was over $200, so I feel improvements can be made in the wine and salad categories.

We waited 15 min for our table. From our reservation time. The staff could not get it together. They could not figure out gluten free dish’s. The waitress came and went 5times over this. One person of our party got their food early. We sent it back 15min later we were served. Steak with no steak knife. The music was loud and it wasn’t comfortable to visit. It looks like it’s all about the alcohol

We requested a table with a view of the water as we were in town visiting. When we got to the restaurant the Hostess informed us she accidentally gave our reserved table away. We then were seated in the middle of the restaurant with a view of the bar. The Waitress seemed disinterested in her job. She forgot my Daughter and Husband’s drinks. The food was mediocre. If you are looking for a special dinner while vacationing in Victoria, look elsewhere.

We booked our Reservation the day before, for our daughter's birthday. I had to increase our list by 1 which was not a problem. We were seated by a window which was nice as we got there before dark. Our waitress was lovely and didn't miss a beat. Our overall experience was very nice and my daughter had a nice time.

My friend was visiting from Seattle this week and we enjoyed Glo Restaurant so much that we actually came in twice for lunch. The service was excellent as was the food and wine. The decor is phenomenal with the most exotic, tropical flower arrangements surrounding the bar and tables. And I can't forget to mention the beautiful view of the Gorge and the walkway. Glo is my favorite restaurant in the area. I will return again and again

Food was excellent. Our server was amazing - so knowledgeable, absolutely loved her!! The only complaint that we had was that someone at the front desk was using an abundance of perfume that filled the foyer and parts of the restaurant with her scent. It was overpowering for all 3 of us.

Ordered the salmon (sockeye). The portion was ridiculously tiny. The side portion equalled the salmon portion… i think one mini carrot and couple small slivers of bell pepper and 2 small beet portions. The goolosh mix of I dont know what seemed to be the generous part of the meal.. On top of weak portion size it didnt even taste good… SALT OVERLOAD. Waitress was awesome though FYI, I never write reviews

Need more than 2 hours to have a decent meal. We celebrate with our friends usually on our bdays etc.. We just barely finished eating had had to leave.

We eat here frequently with family and bring friends and out of town visitors. There is something for everyone on the menu and the food is consistently good. We almost always order the bacon wrapped prawns…delicious. I can personally recommend the Tan Tan salad. It is always fresh and a full meal in itself. Others at our table had the Buddha Bowl, the Crispy Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and the Short Rib Hash. Everyone was happy. The waitresses are always friendly and check in on you periodically. It does not hurt that Glo has a beautiful view of the Gorge waterway and Trestle Bridge. Guaranteed to make your meal out a pleasant experience

Took a couple from overseas for lunch. Hostess and server were welcoming friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. Our guests were raving about the taste presentation and service. Glo is always top notch.

My friend and I enjoyed a fabulous surf and turf luncheon. Steaks were perfectly done. We were not rushed and spent an hour and a half taking in the beautiful waterside views with pleasant private conversation. The vibe was energetic, yet you could not make out conversation at a table across from us, which is reassuring. The waitress was lovely, attentive and accommodating. A first visit for my friend and she will definitely come again. Another wonderful visit for me, and yes, I will definitely come again. A really great restaurant with great food and staff. Bonus - they will give you a $5 discount if you park at the designated nearby parking lots!

It was the worst service we have ever received! The server was unbelievably slow. We received nothing for half an hour then the food arrived and eventually the drinks!!! A bottle of wine and a beer were the drinks, not exactly complicated. We had asked her a couple of times where the drinks were and she finally snapped at us " They're coming!"

Horrible, arrived at 8 pm for our reservation and were told we would need to wait as they had no tables. Had to wait for 45 minutes for a table. Had to ask to have dirty dishes removed from table. Waitress did not know how to serve wine.
