Have been to this venue numerous times and all have been exceptional. However on this occasion we were seated and what felt like abandoned. We ordered, the waiter never wrote anything down and as a result forgot to order one of our mains. We were waiting 10 minutes for the the forgotten main to arrive while the other was left on our table with the person not wanting to eat until the other had arrived. There were lots of staff working but none around our table or passing by to ask for sides/ drinks etc. We asked for another drink and this was forgotten about too, we had to ask twice for extra drinks. Our table was not cleared before we left. I had to ask for our bill at the bar to which I was told that someone would bring it over. They left the bill on the table without asking if everything was okay or to ask if we needed the card machine, they dropped the bill and hurried off. The staff member who was standing nearby came with the card machine and couldn’t have been nicer. The table next to us had a dog and was put off by the server touching it and letting it lick his hands. We really enjoyed the food but the service was shocking on this occasion. Would put us off coming back to this particular venue but would try Edinburgh or other Glasgow ones over this one if we were to return.

Food is always exceptional. Only feedback is on the Bloody Masie (Mary) - they are by far the best Bloody Marie's anywhere, but you need to stay consistent in the prep; sometimes the glass rim is coated, then sometimes it's not (better when coated). Some occasions I get asked how spicy I want it, from 1 - 10 (I like them between a 7 or 8) however I don't always get asked and have to prompt the server and ask, or sometimes I don't get the chance to choose spice level at all. Keep it consistent folks. Otherwise, absolutely brilliant!!

First time eating here and won't be the last. Great menu , great cocktails, service was excellent despite it being very busy Saturday afternoon. Booking highly recommended for that reason. Allocated 1 hours 15mins which was plenty time for drinks and food. Very generous portions but no problem to bag up leftovers and bring home which my husband agreed that it was really tasty and delicious.

First time visiting Bucks Bar, Treat for my Daughters 13th Birthday! Absolutely loved it, Food was outstanding, Staff all very friendly and attentive. Loved the atmosphere will definitely be back

Our group of friends visited on Tuesday, we arrived slightly early and was asked to wait at the bar which was fine. We had a good look at the drinks menu. 2 of us ordered the twister cocktail. They were fantastic. We got seated not long after our actual arrival time. Food orders were taking about 15-20 minutes later. Too many yummy choices to choose from. We did wait awhile on food nearly an hour but it was worth it. The portions were massive and the food was delicious. We did have a slight issues with our sides being cold but they were quickly rectified. The staff were very friendly and had great customer service. It was our first visit to bucks bar and we will definitely be back.

Food was great but drinks expensive. Service was ok but we had a drink missing from order and it took 3 attempts to get it, ending in having to go to bar ourselves for it. Girl who was serving us was lovely, however, a manager came as we were looking at dessert menu, to tell us we didn’t have long on our table. This was half hour before it was due to be given up! She was quite abrupt about it. We decided to settle bill and move to another venue. Disappointed.

Hi there, It was myself who issued your bill. Your party was allocated the table for 1 hour 30 minutes, and the table was vacated after 1 hour and 38 minutes. As you had been deciding about whether to order dessert for quite some time after being cleared of mains, I did visit the table to advise that there was another party booked on to the table, and asked if no-one was wanting anything else at this stage would I be okay to bring the bill for whilst your group were finishing up drinks. I sincerely apologise if you felt this exchange was abrupt as this was not my intention, nor how I would wish any guests to feel. Ive been here a few times before and the service has been fine but today it fell short of what I have previously had. Ordered food and drinks and a jug of water-the food arrived before the drinks (2 mocktails and jug of water). When I said about the drinks they came approx 3 mins later. Mentioned the jug of water again but by the end of the meal it hadnt arrived. Forgetting it once was acceptable but twice is just not good enough im afraid.

Little bit expensive for lunch time on a Saturday although the portions were really big. A tad salty but really good. And the milkshakes were amazing the Nutella one was the best milkshake I’ve ever had!!!!

We arrived 10 mins early for our table and were greeted by Pablo. We were advised we could grab a drink from the bar whilst waiting during this time we were asked about any allergy which not many restraunt do nowadays which is really helpful as I do have allergies. I knew I was in good hands at that point as the staff knew and I reassured them I had eaten here previously and was fine. We were shown to our table and drinks brought over in a timely manner. Food was ordered and served quickly, hot and delicious. We tried the buck cherry wings which were phenomenal. The food, staff, drinks, atmosphere and energy was fantastic. Could not have asked for a better service. We will be returning again soon.

Meal arrived and one burger was cold and 2nd had the wrong side order. Staff were excellent and sorted both with brand new meals. Did spoil the overall experience and won’t rush back.

It was a really good experience at Buck's bar. The food and drinks were very nice. Food quality was amazing and the portion size was huge. Totally worth the value.

Sweet Cheezus burger was to die for. I could of had ordered another one. My mate really enjoyed his Ninja burger. Disappeared without a trace (Ninja Turtle reference) ;-) LOL

We had an outdoor table which was good as it was a nice day. Our server was great very attentive happy and chatty. The food here is outstanding it’s been a while since we ventured through to Glasgow but made this our first stop and if it’s possible the food has gotten even better

The reason for my 1 star is not that the food was bad, or service it was actually amazing I chose the buff chick fried chicken burger. However when I got towards the end of my meal I took a bite and found myself in lots of pain. I was very shocked to find a 1 inch solid bone in my burger and tasted blood in my mouth. I didn’t get angry with the staff or anyone to be honest these things happen and I wasn’t charged for our meal, the staff were also quite surprised and were very professional and pleasant. My tooth is pushed back behind my front tooth and I’m not gonna exaggerate but I need a retainer lol.

Meaning to try Bucks Bar for food for ages. I’ve been a few times and love their cocktails. Booked table well in advance. Early, so had drink at bar, every single member of staff was friendly, enthusiastic & genuinely seemed to be having a good time. Service definitely seemed authentic! Pace of service was good. Food was so Bucking good. Gravy Train & Tex Mex were phenomenal. Exactly as described but so much better. Just the simple things done right. Advice on portions & spice levels spot on, drink orders taken regularly. Might’ve been Henry that seemed us, super helpful & professional & friendly. This was a fab visit; in complete contrast to Scottish hospitality that we’d suffered through the week. Well done Bucks Bar, get yourselves there soon!
