We were visiting from out of town to celebrate our anniversary. I decided to book here due to the high reviews. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t a match. After our attempt to check in, the host didn’t say a word and walked away to talk to a waiter. After returning, he signaled for us to follow upstairs. He guided us to the bar and told us to wait, then left. We were standing confused until a few minutes later another waiter walked up and said he wasn’t sure what the host was doing but they are trying to get a table ready. The restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of clean tables around. The wait staff were very friendly and the food tasted great, a little overpriced. We did enjoy the music and the ambiance of the restaurant.

This is a classic Italian restaurant with excellent food, friendly service, and a fine wine list. All of the pasta dishes are wonderful, as are the salads and appetizers. Definitely one of our top favorites in Music City!

Service was top notch. A beautiful restaurant. We got gnocchi (butter and Parmesan) and the chicken masala. Chicken is thin and melts in your mouth, gnocchi was pillowy. The serving sizes are on the smaller size which should be considered normal. With a salad to start and the meal left feeling full and not stuffed so perfect amount. It’s a bit loud, restaurant was full at the time but could still manage a good conversation. Was nice to see families and attire casual with most people in jeans and nice top. Highly recommend adding this restaurant to your trip if looking for a great meal and break from downtown.

I went for my 21 st birthday dinner with my mom. We had a great dinner! Out server was amazing and I loved it so much. He was very knowledgeable and very personable. The portions were kind of small for the price, but the food was good. Would go again, loved the ambience.

On a trip to Nashville, we had an amazing dinner with fresh ravioli and pillowy gnocchi that was the best we’ve had since visiting Italy. They also had another gluten free option for pasta - accommodating my daughter’s food allergy. Great tiramisu as well- everything made in house! Definitely a high end meal without the high end prices. I will visit again next time I am in Nashville.

We have been to Giovanni's several times now and it never fails to meet and exceed our expectations. All of our dishes were excellent--we shared with each other--and we also enjoyed three desserts which were all delicious.

We had a terrific meal and our server, Oliver is just fabulous. We will ask for him again! All of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent dining experience. Even made us a special appetizer!
