GIOIA, meaning joy in Italian, brings the joy of Italian cuisine to Chicago. Infusing the romance and traditions of Italy with the energy and sophistication of Chicago's West Loop.

Join us for dinner, nightly beginning at 5pm, for delicious dishes created by our own, Chef Cristiano Bassani.
Have you seen our cacio e pepe in the making on social media?! You're in the right place! Our signature table side Cacio e Pepe and Gioia nei Paccheri are house favorites.

We will be open for lunch on Mother's Day! Join us on the patio or inside for a meal with friends and family! Our full menu will be available as well as a kids menu.

Very good food, very professional staff, however waiter seemed in a rush and wasn’t very attentive. Waited a while to get our wine orders in as well as food. Ambiance wise, the space is beautiful but dim your lights a little more.

Great food and drink. We started with Campari and Soda. Then a deconstructed Caesar salad. We have a very nice Super Tuscan bottle of wine to go with dinner. One pasta with clams and one pasta with mixed seafood - both were great, but too much food. However, there is apron for dessert which Was lava cake with ice cream and fresh fruit followed by very good coffee. It was a great evening.

We truly enjoyed the first time dining here. The service was top notch and the food was excellent. We had the calamari appetizer and we enjoyed Salmon and a table side prepared pasta. It was a great meal and we will return.
