Gino’s Taverna is a family run restaurant set up by the late Gino Renoldi. Attached to the side of a busy town pub it offers a friendly, old fashioned, restaurant vibe selling freshly cooked food from Italian classics to Galician steaks. Our signature dish being a 900 gram Galician Ribeye on the bone carved at the table for two. With a stone pizza oven and an outside dining terrace. The restaurant has plenty to offer.

                          Lovely meal fish, lamb roast, prawn linguine chicken pasta Value for money Free entertainment as there was a private party what more could you want for a Sunday evening

                          Really lovely lunch. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious and we all thought good value for money.

                          Had the prawns on bruschetta for starters, which were amazing! The main course rib eye steak was up there with one of the nicest steaks I have had. Clearly a good quality cut, cooked exactly how I requested and melted in the mouth! I'm not usually bothered with the chips when I have steak, but the duck fat chips were to die for! The wine list is very reasonably priced too.

                          We had a wonderful afternoon lunch which was enjoyed by all of us. My roast lamb was cooked to perfection and everyone else said their dishes were great too. All the staff were really friendly but also professional and couldn't of been more helpful. We look forward to returning in the near future.
