Love Ginger! Their Asian fusion food and cocktails are top notch, and the service is stellar. A favorite for a nice date night out or pre-show appetizer & drinks at the bar.

Great service. Food was alright. The scallops dish didn’t seem that special and felt overpriced for the components. Mac and cheese plus scallops didn’t seem to need to cost $48. Our waitress was wonderful, however.

I booked the reservation early so I could make it to a concert at 7:30. We arrived on time. We ordered our food at 6:30 and we got back at 7:15. At which time I shoved a couple bites down my throat so I could rush to the concert. The dish I ordered was not good. Dry chicken breast and too much meet and not enough rice. He needs to take that one back to the drawing board. The waitress was the only nice thing. She did her best.

One of my favorite restaurants in town!vegan options and gluten free options so everyone can find something they would enjoy! The fried chicken and mee krob are my two favorites but the spring rolls and lemongrass soup come as a close second.

My wife and I camdisappointed! The whole staff was attentive, helpful and pleasant! The meal was absolutely fantastic! We started with the sweet and spicy crispy pork egg rolls, a Negroni, and an old fashioned. The drinks were well balanced, and the appetizer was really good. My wife had the vegan curry, and I had the general tso'anders fried chicken. The chicken was breaded and fried and topped with a blend of Nashville hot and General Tso's sauces. It was unbelievable!!! Great balance of flavor and heat! My wife's curry was excellent as well, I'm not a tofu guy but I would have eaten it anyway it was that good. Our desserts were a bananas foster cheesecake egg rolls and a pear-ginger cheesecake. Both were to die for!! I can't say it enough, but if you're in Anchorage, go to Ginger. You won't be dissapointed!

Great meal. Especially enjoyed the Spring salad and the lettuce wraps (three of us had them as our meals - obviously a favorite!) And shout out to the great selection of After Dinner cocktails!

I'm tired of writing the same review, but this is another example of an Anchorage restaurant that opened years ago with a bang and has done nothing since to improve, meaning they've actually slid backward. Our server was a bit awkward. It would have been fine, but he talked a LOT, always overstaying his welcome. Pineapple mocktail was fabulous. Spicy tuna app was pretty good but not the least bit spicy. Fries were meh. Burger was salty AF, I spit out the second bite. Banana dessert tasted nice but the dough was wet and too chewy. Won't ever return.

This place was highly recommended, but we were disappointed the whole night. There was something off about each of the five dishes we tried. Service was extremely slow and they weren’t busy.

We showed up before the dinner rush. Place was pretty empty. We ordered drinks and received them fairly quickly. Ordered one appetizer and our dinners. Appetizer didn't come. Place filled up, everyone was eating before us. We finally asked about 35 minutes later. She brought out our food but it was just barely warm, so it had been sitting. They clearly forgot us, but the manager and server just made excuses. Would have been way better if they would have just said, hey sorry we forgot. Did comp 1 meal. Spring rolls were good, burger was good, drinks were good.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. We could not have been happier. The food was delicious. And our waitress, Crystal, was the best! The service was quite exceptional. We loved everything about our evening at Ginger.

This is the first time I have been to this restaurant. The table was ready when we showed up. Service was great. The food was also fantastic. What makes a meal great is that the sides which were all really good. Overall one of the top places to eat in Anchorage

This is the second time in the past few months that I've had terrible service at Ginger prior to attending a performance at the PAC. I know that they get slammed with everyone all at once, but our waiter didn't seem to manage his time at tables very well and they were overall very disorganized. We ordered quickly and the food still took a bit longer than expected. That I can understand, but my friend got the wrong soup and the wrong drink. When our waiter brought our bill he also brought us leftovers that were not ours. He just seemed a bit scatter-brained as he spent too long talking to some tables instead of checking on his other tables. Luckily the food is still very good, but I do not recommend going there before a show.

Had the beef tenderloin in curry sauce. The curry sauce tasted delicious but the beef was low quality and tasteless. Salad with strawberries was good.

Once again great meal, wonderful service and not extremely expensive comparatively. Tonight we had beef panang curry, a lovely noodle dish, vegan curry, a few Old Fashioneds and an amazing pear ginger cheese cake!
