Le Gigino Trattoria a ouvert ses portes en août 1994. Les propriétaires, Bob Giraldi et Phil Suarez, ainsi que le chef Luigi Celentano, ont su faire du Gigino une entreprise florissante du quartier en constante évolution de Tribeca. Le chef Celentano crée le menu et la carte des vins, et propose des plats du jour cuisinés à partir de fruits de mer, de gibier et de légumes frais et de saison. Le Gigino est fier de préparer tous ses plats sur commande et de cuisiner sur place la quasi-totalité des pâtes et des pains. Les spéciaux sur les poissons frais sont présentés sur le tableau noir tous les jours. Le restaurant a aussi la meilleure pizza de Tribeca! Un repas au Gigino Trattoria est un plaisir qui se renouvelle à chaque fois!

We had the BEST meal at Gigino Trattoria. Everything was wonderful and we can't wait to go back, but I have to give a special shout out to their gluten free pizza. I knew they had GF pasta options (which I'll have to try next time -- I went for the risotto which was GF as-is this time and it was INCREDIBLE!) but the menu doesn't actually say anything about a GF pizza option! We asked our server anyway who said they actually did have a GF crust (warned that there might be cross-contamination in the oven so just FYI for those who may be celiac who are reading this). When she brought it over she very clearly confirmed it was a GF pizza but after taking one bite I had to call her back over to confirm again because it was SO GOOD I just could not believe it! It tasted too good to be true! But it was! She told us they make their own GF crust in house and IT SHOWS!!! I think it was the best GF pizza I've ever had. Could not recommend more. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Delicious meal , enjoyed by all four of us . Dishes we ordered : orcheitta with broccoli rabe and sausage, chicken parm, lamb osso bucco and farfalle with chicken and broccoli all delish. Chocolate lava cake was small but perfectly oozy with ice cream on the side. We liked the ambiance, its a pretty restaurant.

Moderately priced Italian food. Everything was very good. Only downside was that the tables in the main room are too close together. And, on a busy Saturday evening, it was about 85 degrees inside. After a few patrons complained, they finally turned down the heat (or turned on the AC). All in all, a good neighborhood option.

I dine at Gigino every time I travel to NYC, which is 2-3x a year. It is a gem in the Tribeca neighborhood that has held up well over many years. The staple items on the menu are consistently great and among the specials there are always several i am tempted by. This restaurant is super for business meals, family gatherings, first dares, whatever the occasion.

We love Gigino’s. It’s a reliable, welcoming local restaurant with excellent service and consistently great food at a reasonable cost. Our most recent trip was a family dinner event with a party of 8 including two young kids. Everyone had a great time. I know we’ll be back soon.

I was expecting to be very quiet for a holiday in this neighborhood, but I was wrong, the place was alive with almost every seat taken, our server was very attentive and very professional, food didn’t disappoint as well, they have excellent cocktails and a killer wine menu, I love all the nice wine selections they have for very reasonable prices, the floor manager goes around the place to see if everything is good, which I appreciate very much. Looking forward to come back soon and have another wonderful meal at Giginos

This restaurant was recommended to us. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it! The ambiance was very authentic as was the food. Stephanie was an excellent server! Next visit to the city we will return to this restaurant.

We love this place but caught it on a down night. Despite being a regular was seated by the front door on a cold night. The music was too loud to have a conversation. People waiting to be seated were right on top of us as we were eating. I hope it's better next time
